Hi I’m selling my 2005 triton tr186 with a 2005 Johnson 150hp. The boat is in great condition hull wise. The engine starts right up but has a rattle in it. I’ve had 2 mechanics look at it. They both said it doesn’t sound like a broken rod but the engine would need to be opened up to figure out the problem. I have never used the boat since the problem as I didn’t want to make it worse.I only fish this boat in the delta and it handles the rough water better than I expected at 18’6”. Boat has been sitting since this February I just haven’t had the time to get it fixed. Boat has 2 9” garmin graphs I purchased myself from bass pro and a 80lb thrust minn kota ultrex. Eventually I will get this thing fixed as I’m in no rush to sale. But I wanted to post it in its current condition and see what offers I can get. I’m asking 7500$ in its current condition. You can hang a new Mercury 150 4-stoke on it for a little over 15k. You'll be good for at least 10 years.
