Stradic FI 2500/3000 Spools ?

Are they interchangeable? Is the body of the reel the same on both models and only the spool differs? Can I put the 2500 spool on the 3000 reel? Thx. NCD.

Yes they are interchangeable between the 2500 and 3000 size.

Any other differences between the 2500 and 3000, or if I slap a 2500 spool on a 3000, have I just made a true 2500? Is the handle size different?

The handle paddle is slightly larger on the 3000 size reel. Other than this and the spool they are identical.
