Why no xtra spool with new model spinning reels???

The increased costs of manufacture and the weak dollar caused us to raise all of the prices on our reels. We decided to eliminate the spare spools to maintain better MSRP pricing on the reels. You can order a spare spool by calling 877-577-0600.
