I broke a crucial flippin stick the other day

and remembered reading on here that I could cut it down to save on shipping. Is this still the norm?
Also what is the address that it gets shipped to? I also need to send in a calais 200 for repair.
Thanks in advance

You can cut the rod in half to ovoid oversize shipping. Send the rod to:
Shimano
attn Rod Warranty
1 Holland
Irvine, CA 92618
The reel can be sent to the same address but attention Reel Repair.

Just wanted to say thanks for the super quick turn around on my flippin stick, just received it yesterday.
I was just wondering though, is the reel repair dept. going to call me about the work required on my calais? I sent it in the same day as the crucial rod and haven't heard anything yet. I had an old shimano reel repair form and included on it my phone # and cc# when I sent the reel in. Will they just perform the neccesary repairs and ship it out or will they call me first?
Thanks again

the calais will cost you just a flat 35.00 and they will fix whatever is wrong but that should of been done in 24-48hrs and shipped back so I would be getting on the phone
both times I have asked them to shipped my reels back to me they have forgot about it and my reels have sat for weeks till I called and then they were shipped that day
oh and I have a broken Crucial too that needs replaced too

Never mind, I just got the Calais 100A today

They charged me a flat labor fee of $30 AND $10 for a ball bearing. A little more than the $35 but I ain't trippin. I've been puttin off sending this baby back for quite a while. Just glad to have her back in working condition.
