has anyone upgrade the citica e with the curado e parts? (bearings..washers..etc..) can this be done and where can you get the parts...thanks in advance for any advices!

I upgraded my Citica with BOCA bearings. They cost less than 10 bucks shipped. GREAT bearings and I notice a HUGE difference.

You can add a bearing to the drive shaft. The drag washer material in the Curado is the same as what we use in the Citica. Change the spool support bearings to ABEC 5 and add the drive shaft bearing. This will make the reel cast better and feel smoother.

You can get aftermarket bearings, or you can call us to order our bearings at 877-577-0600.

Get them from Bocabearings. They are number one in bearings they make them for high RPM rc cars and airplanes and such.

Like stated before get Abec5 bearings sevens are made for extremley high RPM. Just overkills for the reel.
