Better check on the Daylight savings time. The Gen 2 and previous models do not automatically update like a phone.

If you travel you will need to reset the Time to the local time every instance you change time zones. This is done for a reason.

Example, let's say you are fishing a bass tournament on Lake Havasu and you launched out of Lake Havasu City marina, which just about every tournament goes out of. You want to set your Lowrance unit to the local Arizona time so you will always be on the correct time for weigh in. If your Lowrance unit changed time automatically, when you were fishing the west shore of Lake Havasu, you would be in the Pacific Time Zone and one hour earlier than Arizona time. If you stayed there all day, you would be one hour late to weigh in if your unit changed time automatically. ]

When the time changes from daylight savings time to standard time and back again throughout each year, you will need to change the time each instance.
