I am running an Elite ti 9 at drivers seat and just bought another for up front. I’ve been told that the total scan transducer is basically useless on the trolling motor for side scan and have decided to just use my transducer from my elite 7x hdi w/ down scan. What adapter do I need?

If you are continually turning the sidescan, yes it's useless, but hold it in a position and travel and it works fine

Structure Scan on the trolling motor is one of the best tools I have. I have won tournaments using that technology on my trolling motor. Don't always listen to other people. Use something on your boat and make up your own mind if it is a viable tool.
