Good morning,

I have a Lowrance HDS 12. My waypoints do not show bearing or distances and my unit says "Vessel GPS location not detected".

My power connections were corroded causing power issues so I purchased a two wire power connector. Unit powers nicely now but my waypoints don't show bearing or distance now and GPS position is not indicated. I do not use all the other colored wires that were on the original power wires. Any clue as to what my issue is? Thanks

If you have multiple units or a point 1 antenna, you may have to select what “source” you want to use for GPS. And if you have multiple units ensure they are all powered on.


If it is a live or Pro unit and you want the unit you are talking about to be the main source for GPS location, try this.

Setting
System
Network
Data sources
GPS
Then select a valid GPS source.
