We are going back and fourth about stupid politics and beliefs. Meanwhile the previous administration sent the Ukrainian missiles to fight Russia
Trump is threatening tomahawk cruise missiles
Is this not the issue we should have concerns about? All the politics in the White House can simply go to their shelters as we see 2 suns in the sky momentarily before our bones become ashes. Trump, Vance, Biden, Harris, all the rest of them and their families will simply go underground and emerge later to ruins. Shake hands with the enemy and call it a new world.
Neither side is better than the other on this one. I mean the previous Administration already did the following
Provided all this to the Ukraine.
Anti-armor / anti-tank weapons
• Thousands of Javelin missiles.
• Other anti-armor systems.
2. Artillery & Rocket Systems
• Howitzers (e.g. 155 mm guns) and large quantities of artillery rounds.
• HIMARS (High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems) and rockets for them.
3. Air Defense
• Stinger anti-aircraft missile systems.
• NASAMS surface-to-air missile systems.
• Patriot batteries.
• Other missile / radar / counter-drone / anti-aircraft gun systems.
4. Armored Vehicles and Mobility
• Bradley fighting vehicles.
• MRAPs (mine-resistant ambush protected vehicles), Humvees, armored personnel carriers, etc.
5. Aircraft / Helicopters
• Mi-17 helicopters.
• Also equipment/training related to aircraft (e.g. for jets like F-16s).
6. Drones / Unmanned Systems
• Tactical unmanned aerial systems (drones).
• Counter-drone systems (anti-UAS).
7. Munitions & Ammunition
• Huge supplies of ammunition of many types (artillery, small arms, rockets).
8. Precision Weapons
• Some advanced systems like precision-guided munitions, glide bombs, etc.
9. Training, Intelligence, and Sustainment
• Training of Ukrainian forces (e.g. pilots, how to operate Western equipment).
• Intelligence sharing.
• Support to maintain and sustain equipment.
Trump has done this
• The U.S. has continued to deliver some of the military equipment / ammunition that were authorized under the Biden administration before Trump took office. These include anti-tank weapons and artillery rounds.
2. First arms sale under Trump
• After signing a “minerals deal” with Ukraine, the Trump administration certified a proposed license to export $50 million or more of defense hardware and services to Ukraine. This was reported as the first permit or approval of arms sales under his administration.
3. Aid funded by NATO allies via new mechanism (PURL)
• The Trump administration has approved weapons aid packages for Ukraine financed by NATO allies under a “Prioritized Ukraine Requirements List” (PURL). These are shipments of U.S. equipment paid for by other countries rather than directly as U.S. grants.
So far
Now threatening tomahawks?? Not a good idea if you ask me
No matter where our opinions are I can’t imagine how this turns out good for anyone
I thank Trump for trying to end this war but obviously Putin is not ready for peace. I question Trumps strategy. I m sure like all presidents he has advisors helping make decisions. Thank goodness
I’m by no means claiming to know **** about this war but feeding the Ukraine weapons can not be good.
It’s all very complicated.
praying for peace in the world. We all need to come together in this country
I pray it does not take another horrific tragedy like 911 for America to unite
