rent the documentary "The Smartest Guys in the Room". It is the complete story of the Enron failure. Warning though, no matter if you are a republican, a democrat, or a indipendent you will be pissed off when it is over. We all pretty much got screwed. It is definately worth a few bucks and a couple hours of time.

The Smartest Guys in the Room, excellent documentary.
While you're at it get
The Fog of War, a 2003 movie that's pretty much an hourlong conversation with Robert McNamara talking about Vietnam (naturally) and war in general.
What the heck. After you've done that be sure to watch
The Wire, by far the best show on TV, starting on the 10th. Watch the DVDs too
