The point is you republicans have no class when it comes to what you want. The article just shows how low your party will go to stay in power. And by reading your responce it sounds like a armed takeover of our gov't could be justified by you and your party if you feel things are not going in the right direction.

The reason I posted this was to show the dirty tricks the republicans are known for. Calling McCain gay, father of a black baby (out of wedlock) "The Manchurian Candidate", not a war hero but an actual traitor and many, many other things and these are lies they said about one of there own.

Then the swift boating of John Kerry. The witch hunt (called whitewater) on the Clintons and now all this total crap they are pulling on Barrack Obama. For the republican party claiming to take the high road and be so high and mighty and then to stoop to the level they have in the last 15-20 yrs is disgusting.

IMO, anyone that condones or supports this kind of action is lacking in class and character. So if you support this kind of action and classless act well good for you but I sure don't. Your republican party is dividing this country and if you don't see that then I do feel sorry for you.

Since you have not resorted to the republican strategy of attacks and name calling I will try to keep this as civil as possible.

Were you even alive during the watergate era? You do know that Richard Nixon ordered break ins of democratic offices don't you. Do you know that somehow the 13 minutes of audio tapes of who ordered what were somehow erased. Conspiracy, tampering with evidence and other things lead to his resignation in disgrace.

The Clintons were never charged with anything to do with Whitewater, "Kenneth Starr's successor as Independent Counsel, Robert Ray, released a report in September 2000 that stated "This office determined that the evidence was insufficient to prove to a jury beyond a reasonable doubt that either President or Mrs. Clinton knowingly participated in any criminal conduct."

My point on the "actual cash to pay for it " was that politicians being the bottom dwellers they naturally are by nature all have one flaw .The only difference in this arena is who is more of a "politician" than the other . I am not a big McCain fan ,however he atleast has served his country and has been on a part of the "pecking order " that few have seen . Beeing captive due to his military position . I hear "Ohh I've served the people of this nation all my life" from Hillary and it made me puke . Name one thing she can put her name on that made a difference ....well..only thing I came up with was a museum was constructed due to her influence to make WOODSTOCK a big deal...wow ,earth shattering huh ? Obama...being another "Ive served all my life" politician knows that a vote is a vote ,so why make sense to the people that have actually built companies ,led business thru hard times, naw..lets influence the people that are employees ,or that dont want to even carry there own frikkin weight ,and tell them its there right to expect all the companies in America (since they are all rich on the backs of the employees) that they owe health insurance ,and what ever to each and every person." What Bush (and us faced) was new ,there was no past experience to see what would not work...we still are better off that if Gore or Kerry was sittin in the office -atleast my opinion . Ohh .and I wouldnt take the fact that the Clintons havent been stuck with anything meaning that they have always been innocent . If I did ,,,then I would not feel the same about OJ....nothing "stuck" to him either ..

At the end of the day, the two wars are earily similar. An ameircan President intervines in another country's problems. If this Iraq war is protested for being illegal, then they should have protested the yugoslavian campagin. The only differance was ole Bill had UN approval for his mission and Georgie boy didn't. Maybe the UN saw how America opperated in Yugoslavia and didn't want it to happen in Iraq?? Either way, I think if Iraq had no huge oil reserve and Bush wasn't an oil man then it could have been just a mission to oust a dictator and prevent more systmatic genocide. I also worked with this guy in San Jose who had to flee when Bill started dropping bombs. He sure had some stories!!


As far as the watergate deal, I threw that in because there were people arrested and sued over the "white water" real estate deal. The difference was Bill and Hillary were smart and kept their names off of stuff. Nixon had no where to hide and got busted.

Yes, you are right the wars were similar except for one thing. The Yugoslavia conflict will go down in history books on how to fight a campaign. On the other hand the War in Iraq will go down in the history books on how NOT to fight a war.

Under Clinton, the president let the military figure the best way to win the conflict quickly and efficiently. Under Bush, the president forced the military to fight it his way. With his less is more strategy, the president sent in too few troops to do the job quickly and efficiently. But he was right about one thing, less is more, more American young men and woman dead.

I'm on the same page except for the "WAR" part of the Iraq campagin was the most successful EVER! They f'd up the occupation and pacification part though. "Gee where did all those elete republican gaurd troops go?" Duh, they disappeared in to the public and have caused trouble for 5 years now. Yep, I would have gone in there and done one of 2 things; 1. Capture Saddam, slap him around, then put him back in to "limited" power to keep Iran in check. Invading would have proved "dont f with us". Or 2. divide the country in to 3 countries of Kurds, Shiete, and Sunis.
