HR 1388 = Obama's Brownshirts?

Looks scary to me, indoctrinating young people in a mandatory volunteer program (what's that).
They will be GIVEen basic civil defense training and required 10 hours of re indoctrination each year.
Won't they be activated by FEMA, the group currently sprucing up some 800 "facilities" around the nation that bear a striking resemblance to modern day concentration camps?
Maybe I'm just a kook, but this is getting scarier every day.

You owe my 9 minutes and 55 seconds of my life back. I'm wondering, did he make that out of his garage or his living room. It has a couch, but I think I see cans of paint on a shelf in the background and some rags.

yea having young Americans perform service to their nation is a terrible threat. Personally I don't think this bill goes far enough, and from what I read there is "no" mandatory service requirement, only a committee is formed to explore that particular idea.

As soon as rich kids are required to go to war with the rest, you'll see mass civil unrest. I'm a proponent of re-instituting the draft and can't believe they ever stopped it.

Greg – that is the same old hippy excuse they used in the 60 and 70, tell that to the military now and they will look at you like your some old fool – woops! 
As for the required 10 hours of indoctrination training these volunteers are going to get – “they need an education first to be indoctrinatedâ€
