Back when there were pay phones do you remember what we used to say in cases like this? "Here's a dime, call someone who gives a ****."

No, I'm done now. To me Greggg showed what he is. And the rest of the people that visit this board, well lets just say I had hoped more would speak out against it. but that might have been to much to ask

You're right, it only took 16 posts about "Boy" before you were finished. That isn't too obsessive.

so do you agree with him on his statement?
If anyone else had come on and condemed his statement , it might have ended sooner , its hard for one person to stand against something like that but I did'nt see a bunck of the libs or R's jumping on the banb wagon the defend a conservetive.
Maybe its just Obama and the Libs we're not supposed to bash.

I guess its official. On this site you can call someone a racist with impunity as long as you do it in a "lighthearted" way. lol
This could be fun. I don't want to hear any complaints from Greggy-boy cause he can call someone who give a ****. The racist Greggy-boy who belonged to the Dukes of Hazzard fan club. Yea, that Greggy-boy.

Nice try with the diversion smitty.
But isn't the fact that Greg is too chicken.... to admit he was wrong the real issue here!

I'm not trying to create a diversion. I just think it is obvious that Greg doesn't want to answer the question. I think when it take 16 posts and three new topics, that it is very much obsessive. Why is everything so confrontational with you guys.
I don't agree with Greg. I think he made a very bad assumption or guess as to what he thought Wilson wanted to say.
I also think it was in bad taste and very insulting to shout out in the middle of the presidents address. He can say all he wants after the president is finished.

The fact people debate one another is confrontational to you smitty?
I don't agree with Greg. I think he made a very bad assumption or guess as to what he thought Wright wanted to say.
Yet this is the first time you admit it, but didn't have a problem pointing out an " obsession"
.

Vince I'm glad you can tell them apart, I stated I was from the south, I'm white , 57 and an R. And that his statment to me was no less than using the N-word to a black and I said very plainly I wanted to know how he came up with the Boy and then added a question about rs voting him in. I did not start out to beat him up, and consider beating on him to be less of a crime than what he did[ although some others seem to think the beating on him was the crime].
I relize I am an asshole and am prepared to live with it Thank you for your input.

Do you think a southern upbringing gives an exclusive glimpse into the darkness of racism?
I'm a 42 year old kid from the east bay currently living in the north valley where black people have been scarce until recently but illegals rule. I learned how not to trust my fellow man by being jumped by a group of black thugs while waiting for a cow palace concert to start.
(note: do not wander in the Geneva neighborhood while waiting for an event to begin. The cops said I was lucky to not have been killed)
I grew up listening to racist remarks from parents and grandparents.
We all have to seize the reins and think for ourselves at some point don't we?
You're only an asshole if you won't admit that you were being mean. Period.
It doesn't matter what point you were trying to make and how right you were in your quest.
You were being mean. Period.
Isn't a failure to admit certain things always someone's beef in a politician?

Hey 2nd,
You seem to have an OBSESSION with everything that I say. It goes back to something else we disagreed about earlier. I don't remember what it was, but I'm sure that you were right, you always are......lol.
I guess I'm just not used to attack as being part of a debate. I always thought of calm, cool discussion as being part of a debate. But you always seem to jump to hostility.
I never thought this would go this far that is why I never admitted to anything. Yes their is definitely an obsession here on a couple of peoples part now.
Feel free to jump down my thorat again........ I think it makes you feel big and strong with your keyboard courage.

I tryed to reply to your post but the fourm would'nt let me now it appears differnt. did you change it while I was writng?
doesnt matter I do that too sometimes
Being from the south does make my view differnt from your but more important my being the same as far as white, male, southern, and and R, for al intents and purposes makes Gregs statment apply to me and other men like me NOT just the congressman
and I can tell you that my feelings about that are the same as using the N-word to a black person
you said something about[darn wish I had qouted you]oh well I'll let that go.
being mean, no I wanted to know what he meant[ now I remember] go back and reread my first post, it was not that bad, so no I think he would not have answered anyway.
so no I dont think that because I dont admitt to being mean I'm the same as him
At least I'm doing my best to answer your questios and even your statments that were edited.

I'm sorry Rod. I posted:
"I think if you had asked the question differently Greg would have given you a detailed explanation a week ago."
That might not have been exact but it was the point I was going to make.
I deleted it because I was afraid you would focus on it and ignore the post I made before it, which I decided was more important.
I could always add the other post later if I didn't allow myself to be overly distracted by whatever answer you would post.
That is my honest line of thinking on that.

Where did you get the Boy from Greggg, In the past you've always had a story or just got thru e-mailing someone or talking to , or your sisters aunts uncle did something. That fit right in with what was going on here on the forum.
Well as good as you are at making things up, maybe thats what you've been doing all along

Dude I don't think you're used to a debate period.
de·bate [di báyt]
1. talk or argue about something: to talk about something at length and in detail, especially as part of a formal exchange of opinion.
Sorry smitty I had no idea you were so sensitive.

When you rudely attacked my intellect I assumed you could take it as well as you dished it out.

HEy 2nd,
Using that language really shows your level of intellect, or better yet, your lack of intellect. You can talk and be heard and be much more respected if you talk without profanity. Or is that just more of your conservative ways. Oh wait, I remember hearing your last VP use that same language. I guess it really is a conservative thing.
Where in your definition of debate does it mention personal attacks???
Like I said before, I thought that if you could dish it out then you could take it, but obviously you're sensitive side gets the best of you.
Keep piling it on buddy, I can take all you got.
When I get pissed off, I'll admit it and it shows.
Like the guys I hunt and fish with, we are what we are and are not afraid to hide it.
Would I loose my temper and cuss in front of women and children, absolutely not.
But this is not a chat room full of women, children or whiny metrosexuals, it's a political forum on a fishing website, get over it and lets move on.

Marty,Greggg has a pass. He doesnt answer questions anymore.
Just posts bits and peices of his dreams I think.
I was thinking about this as I flew back yesterday. Have you noticed a differnce in greggg over the last year. He might have had his drugs changed or maybe a small stroke. I know my Dad changed after a stroke he had just before he died.
Hes not his old self. just kind of wanders around making random posts
I would'nt expect much of an answer from him.
