Just found out that the liberal state of Minnesota turned over both houses to the Republicans. This is the first time since 1974 that the house has been a Republican majority. The governorship was however, lost to a Democrat by 1/2 of 1 percent of 2 million votes and is being recounted.

I'd be glad to give you references and ideas on where in the state you can move. Think of the fishing! 10,000 lakes and you won't be stuck to fishing for boring old bass. The have real fish there and restocking is the norm and the hunting unreal.

Too damn cold in the winter and too short a fishing season. Texas is the place to be. Thousands of new jobs created, nice folks, fish all year long, all kinds of good lakes to fish, guns, and a strong distaste for the extreme left and all their behaviors, as well as a reasonable cost of living/doing business/tax situation. I'll take some humidity and 90 degree weather for 3 months out of the year over freezing. Thanks for thinking of me though. Oh yes, and no stupid quagga inspections, you can fish 24 hrs a day (unlike dvl, castaic, and umpteen other so cal lakes), no rediculous 25 mph speed limits on lakes, cheap to launch a boat and don't need a dfi or 4 stroke and they have grass in their lakes and you don't need to fish 4lb and 3inch baits to get a bite. Gee, why in the heck am I not there already?

I've talked to people after 3 tours in Iraq that can't take Texas. In Minnesota you can fish all year around.

All year long? Yeah, if you call augering a hole in the ice in below zero weather with a tip up fishing...I'd rather paint the house or weed the garden than do that.

Texas is ranked no. 1 state to do business in. Here is a list compiled by ceo's of best and worst states to do business. Notice CA and NY are ranked dead last, two of the most populous states in the nation and both progressive liberal strongholds. California and New York just voted for more of their same recipe for failure, gotta believe most of the dumb asses in the country have migrated to or already live in either CA or NY leaving the rest of the country mostly red.

I have no problem with the heat/humidity in Texas. You were the one saying 3 tour vets of Iraq couldn't take that. So in a round about way are you calling them sissies as well? Didn't think so, just using your logic against you. By the way, I live at 7,000 feet in Big Bear and have lived here for the better part of the last 30 years and made my winter living outside, in the winter elements, snow/sleet/freezing rain/wind for 8 or so hours a day for 25 of those years without complaint. Ice fishing is something you do cause there's nothing better to do. So Mr. Cornish, keep your uninformed assumptions to yourself.

LMOA This guy's always got an eyewitness or personal source and is a confidant to host of political notables.

Most of them trained in California near Death Valley.
Are you sure it wasn't three people from Texas that were going to Iraq that couldn't take it in California.
