WON Bass S.D. at El Capitan 2/4

The second WON Bass San Diego team event for 2012 will take place this Saturday, February 4th at Lake El Capitan. With the fantastic weather we've been experiencing the past couple weeks here in SoCal, the lake water temperature has risen almost 10 degrees in two weeks Add to that, thanks to the California DFG, the introduction of a at least two trout plants with past month and you have the makings for one heck of an event.

Our first event for the 2012 season was held on Lake El Capitan last December 12th and was won by our 2011 Anglers of the Year Trevor Lincoln & Cameron Smith. At that time the team brought in a winning limit of bass that went 17.65 lbs and they wound up taking home a cool $2465 in cash. Since than, another tournament held on Lake El Capitan a couple of weeks ago had a winning weight of over 22 pounds.

Great fishing is expected at all the San Diego City lakes this season. Don't miss out on not only the fantastic fishing, but the chance to fish in a first class event with WON Bass teams with an eventual big time fish-off.

There are a few ways to enter this Saturday's event. You can fax us your entry (619 463 4050), phone in your entry (619 466 8355) or drop by Angler's Arsenal in La Mesa and enter in person. If you don't have an entry for, call us at the above number and we'll get one faxed out to you. WON Bass San Diego accepts cash, checks and all major credit cards. Enter before 6pm Friday, February 3rd and get in the drawing for blast-off positions. You can enter at the lake the morning of the event, but your team will take off in order of entry after the last predrawn teams have taken off.

As a note please feel free to "have-at-it" with the best A-rigs you can put together. We allow teams to fishing these rigs in our WON San Diego region tournaments as long as you use a rig that is California DFG legal.
