It was a nice day to fish today!!! The WRL Teams reported using a lot of different techniques but Dropshotting ruled and helped the Teams bring some heavy weights to the scales!!! 4 of our 7 Team had weights over 20lbs. The 6th place Team came in with 13.84 a respectable weight for any body of water. Speaking of 6th place the Team of Mike Enos and Kacy Elisarras were 1 of the 6 Teams in the $10.00 option closest to 10lbs and took home $60.00.
Garret Mannion fished alone today and set the bar pretty high he was the first to weigh in.Garret brought in a 5 fish limit of 22.83 and a Big Bass weighing 6.40. Garrets Big fish came on a Dropshot! Garret finished in 3rd place.
A new Team to Our Trail Don Bergman and Jack Owen brought in a hefty bag of Bass. Their Big fish went 5.25 and they had a total weight of 23.07!! They finished in 2nd place and took home $100.00.
Dropshotting their way to victory was the Team of Dustin Selek and Sal Rocha. I asked what the winning bait was but was told it is a secret. Their winning weight was a Whopping 24.00lbs!!! They also brought in the Tournament Big fish a LMG weighing 7.07!!! For the Win, Winner Take All and Big Fish. They took Home $600.00 in Cash!
