You learn something new everyday on the water..
You learn something new everyday on the water..
Over the past month an a half I have been trying to figure out a specific area on the delta an have learned a lot about fishing the tide.. I caught a 9lber in this area an came back another day on the same outgoing tide caught Nothing then tried it agian on incoming tide an caught 8 rats.. Then came back an caught a 8lber an 6lber... so I dig deeper for info why! It was outgoing so I pulled up my tides table on my Humminbird Solix with the Navionics Hotmaps Platinum and found the water level was at +2.6 ft when I caught these 2 fish.. so I ran around that day an returned later that day an the water was at + 2.8 an I didn’t get bit.. so the following week I came back when the water was at 2.7 An bam 7lber! I came to the conclusion the fish wanted a certain amount of water in that specific area.. gotta love putting the pieces to the puzzle together..
