Water Temp: 51
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Got on the water this afternoon for 2hrs. It was really windy on the main lake and difficult to hold boat position. Caught 5 nice fish up to 3lbs on drop shot, TX rigged robo worm and brushhog from 3-20 ft along rocky shoreline.
City: Foster CityTips: Find a place that is blocked from the wind. Where the wind current and calm water meet is where the fish are. Had a couple real pole bending hits in those areas.

Water Temp: 53.2
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Perhaps some might be interested in a negative report? Skunked! Fished the points, North end of the lake both west and east sides. Used drop-shot (Marguerita Maulers), senkos (watermelon, red flake), and jigs (brown with purple pork trailer). Beautiful day, sunny clear skies, calm to light wind, no fish. Was on the lake at 0800 off at 1200. Saw lots of other boats, but didn't see anyone having any action.
Next time.
City: MontereyTips: I Really appreciate everyone's reports on this list.
Thanks,
Pop

Water Temp: 50
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Beautiful day on Anderson. The fish were in a Spring mood with warmer water temps. Caught 10 bass largest going 4lbs. There rest were nice fish in the 2+ range. Picked up two on hula grub and the rest on a brush hog. Nothing on drop shot. Didn't try anything else. Fish were caught between 5 ft and 30 ft. Fish were most active where boat waves were washing up on shallow flats from deeper water.
City: Foster CityTips: Soft plastics from the shore to 35ft in mud lines if you can find them. Boat wakes and warm weather seemed to turn the bite on.

Water Temp: 52.6
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Best Winter day on Anderson ever. Together my son and I caught 19, 12 of which were at least 15". We lost two pigs at the boat. Both Drop-Shot and Ribbon-Tail worms were the ticket. Worms shallow and Drop-shot deep. All were caught on the windy side of the banks.

Water Temp: Cold
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: First time on this lake. On the water at 8am. It was very cold and overcast all day. Tried the south end around the bridge with no luck. Decided to move back up towards the north part of the lake and my partner nailed a 3.5lber trolling a deep diving, craw colored crank bait. Moved north to fish off some of the rocky points (main and secondary). I hit a nice little 1.5lber on a C rigged Big Ika off a rocky secondary in about 5ft of water. Talked to a few people fishing and everybody said it had been pretty slow recently. Going back soon.
City: Santa CruzTips: Again, first time on the lake but this is what I noticed. Marked most of the fish at 30-45ft suspended. I'm guessing that drop shotting this place is optimal this time of year though I didn't catch any with this method. Work your bait slowly. Smaller soft plastics with little action.

Water Temp: 53 to 57
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Fished the south end 200 yards inside the 5 mph markers, I marked fish all over the right side of the cove but could only get the fish that I found sitting on top of a small ball of shad to bite, the ball was about 5 ft by 5 ft at the most in about 35 feet of water. I caught 4 about 2 lbs and 3 about 1/2 to 1.25 lbs on 4 inch robo worms drop shotted. If I was not on top of the shad the bass would not bite I had to stay right on top of it and that was kind of hard with my 2 1/2 year old son on board wanting to play, so we would horse around for a while and fish for a while.
City: San JoseTips: This time of year you really need a good fish finder, I had a $150.00 Eagle that would not pick up the shad so I replaced it, you need to spend at least $250.00 to get a Eagle or Lawrance that will pick up the shad and than just sit on them, this has worked for me more times than I can remember. Drop your drop shot to the bottom and shake it and leave it be for a count to 10 lift for weight, no weight reel in about 5 turns and do it again, I caught 3 fish that were suspended and when I landed them they were coughing up shad.

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: This lake has turned to crap now with the cold weather i assume. Missed a couple bites. Then after catching nothing for about 3 hours, i had caught 3 in a row on consecutive casts. Weird but I enjoyed it. Small fish. Then shut off after that. Used everything but they only seem to want a good old green pumpkinseed worm.
City: Morgan HillTips: You tell me...

Water Temp: 56
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Got out on the water at 9:00. Headed to the north end and marked fish suspending at 20-30 ft. in 50 ft. of water. Tried jerk baits and jigs on rocky points with no luck. Decided to try the south end at 11:00 and landed a 3 lber dead stickin a senko. Off the water at 1:00. Overall, hard November day on the lake.
City: San JoseTips: The worst day of fishin is better than the best day of workin

Water Temp: busted gauge...
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: got on the water at 8 a.m. with my fishing partner David Rogers. Little overcast and slight wind on the water. Started in the north end of the lake where we found a nice rocky point with a huge school in about 50 ft of water. we stayed there until 10 with only 3 fish in the boat. So then we shot down to the south end and started along the steep rock walls after the 5 mph bouys and before the bridge. Picked up about 10 fish between the two of us up to 3/4 lb to 1.5 lbs. Most on drop shot, but did pull one out on a senko in some trees. We worked our way south and ran into 1.5 hrs of empty hooks. I realized that there was a prominent storm front on its way over the lake and might have an effect on the fish and i think it did. We found a nice school in the southern narrows in 28 ft. This was the jackpot. Wind blowing, air suddenly got cold, and the front directly over us and the bite got hot. Pulled close to 10 in a 30 min. window. from 3:20-3-50. ended the day with 24 fish between the two of us not much size but the numbers was what kept smiles on our faces. By far our best day here at anderson.
City: Watsonville, CaTips: Dont be afraid to get down deep with dropshot and most definately use your electronics to get on top of each school and try ur best to stay on it. Not much movement with the worms, and they seem to like it still. Also the fish were mouthing our baits and not doing the normal tap tap tap. So feel for weight on your line all the time. "Isn't it great to catch 24 in late november!.....gotta love it"

Water Temp: 60
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Fished for 3hrs starting at 11:30AM. Worked my normal spots using jerk bait, dropshot, carolina brushhog and senko and caught nothing. Not a bite from shallow to 30ft mostly points and rocky shoreline. The last 30 min of the day I found a steep rocky bank where boat waves were washing up. Started flipping a 1/2 football head hula grub against the rocks and caught 5 very nice fish in the 3lbs range in rapid sucession. They hit it on the fall. Had a pattern established and had to leave. At least I figured it out first.
City: Foster CityTips: Flip jig or grub against steep rocky bank. I think a senko would also have worked. If you don't get bit on the usual baits keep switching until you figure it out.

Report: Caught 7 bass. Fished for about 3 and a half hours in the afternoon. 6 on a rapala x-rap and 1 on a yamamato texas rigged crawdad. All small fish but still fun. They are nailin the shad right now. It's crazy out there.

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: the fishing for me has been tough but at least the takers are good size for anderson. because of the upcoming tournament this weekend i will not give baits and locations; however, i can say that the good fish are coming from 28-45 feet of water.
City: san joseTips: find deep water structure and fish it all day. bites are sporadic but the fish that eventually bite are pretty big.
