Water Temp: 54deg
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Fished the rockwalls just outside the launch area with cranks and dropshots, nothing. cruised to the old bridge area and just inside the 5mph zone fished the south rock walls. Caught one on turqiouse/yellow crank in 8' of water. Spooned just under the bridge with no luck. Moved back into the creek just passed the bridge and got one to go on a Robo FX peoples worm. Rain came and that was it.
Tips: Shallow running cranks on submerged wood, dropshotting in 25' off rocky points/flats. I think next time i'll spend more time spooning as i believe these bass are suspending big time right now. Slow down and fish thourough(i did not this time and I think i shouldve patterned those suspended bass more)....keep the reports alive, post if u fish. Tight Lines.

Water Temp: 59
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Can't believe I went fishing in a rain storm but I had not been in a month and needed a bass fix. Cold front was moving through as I got on the water at 1130AM. With the wind rain and overcast I started with crank bait. Nothing. Tried shaking a tex rig worm and carolina rig - nothing. Switched to drop shot Robo worm and picked up 7 fish under 2lbs. Pattern was rocky shore on points in 25ft. Bite lasted a couple of hours until the wind shifted to out of the north and the temp dropped and the bite shut down. It was cold and miserable and possibly not worth the pain. There were only a few other boats out. Talked to an Anderson regular who only got 2 fish which made me feel better about not putting more fish in the boat.
City: Foster CityTips: Don't fish during a passing cold front. If you do go dress warm and fish soft plastics in deeper water along rocky shoreline.

Water Temp: 64-66
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Great day on the lake, water was clear and the bass were biting. Fished the south & north end. No luck on the north side, caught 20 plus on the south end, again the majority were in the 1-2 lb. range with two going 3.6 and 4.2 on a 7 inch senkos out of the trees at the very south end.
City: Morgan HillTips: Most success from the south rocky banks, try out the submerged trees down south.

Water Temp: 72
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Windy and clear but the fish were biting all day. Caught 25 LM mostly in the 1-2 lbs range but did get a 3.8 which was big for this lake. The pattern was mud lines in 20-25 ft of water. Caught fish on spinner bait early. Later it was drop shot robo, TX rigged Robo, and a carolina rigged brush hog. Saw some schooled up bass busting shad on top.
Hey foat tube Steve how did you do?
City: Foster CityTips: Find the mud lines and fish the edges with soft plastics in 20-25 ft of water along steep drop rocky shore line. Good luck.

Water Temp: 72
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Very windy. On the lake at 4:00 and off at 6:15. Caught 12 LM in two hours of fishing. Fish were on rocky shoreline in 15-25 ft of water. Drop shot and texas rigged 4" Robo was the ticket. Fun time with a lot of action. Biggest 3.5lbs. Did not try crank, spinner or jerk but with the wind I am pretty sure there was a reaction bite based on the conditions.
City: Foster CityTips: Drop shot along rocky shore with a steep drop at 20-25 ft wherever your electronics show fish. Once you find them with the drop shot try the TX rigged Robo or other soft plastic.

Water Temp: 69-71degrees
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Fished Sunday with my 11 year old daughter and her friend for some inner-tubing/fishing. After doing the tubing thing we dropped the lines for a couple of hours of fishing. We caught 20 LMBs with the very biggest going just shy of 2lbs. Even distribution between us with the count going 7-7-6. Dropshot was the easiest for the girls and they did well, my daughter's friend lost a real nice fish @ the boat, would have been the best fish I have caught here in over 2 years but oh well. Fished the main lake points in front of the houses and just watched the meter, saw the fish and said drop 'em girls and this worked well. They used Aaron's magic Roboworms in 3.5inch leach and 4 inch drop-shot worms. I used the darthead with Flirt worms and 1/2oz jigs with twin tail Yamamoto grubs brown w/ purple flake. Fish were in 12-20ft of water. Easy pickens for the kids if you can get them out there, maybe one day these Anderson bass will grow up. I have been catching tons of these sized fish for 3 years now.

Water Temp: 73
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Beautiful fall day on Anderson. Started out on steep rocky bank in 15-20 ft and immediately caught fish on a TX rig 4" Robo. That was the primary pattern. Moved around the lake and ended up with 17 LM up to 3.5lbs. Tried crank, jerk and spinner with no luck. Soft plastics were my best bait either TX rig or drop shot.
City: Foster CityTips: Fish rocky steep banks in 20 ft of water with soft plastics. Find off shore structure and there should be fish at that same depth. Drop shot is best off shore.

Water Temp: 66
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: great day.first fish 3/pounder came on a silver and chrome shad rap at 9/a/m.never caught another fish on cranks.mojoing war mouths and a shad colored 3" reaper the rest of the day.the mourn. was the best time but caught fish all day. the weather is holding and the fish are goreging on shad.pay close attention to lite bites some times it just feels like pressure especially fish over 3 pds.fish are on main lake points south ends the best.CATCH AND RELEASE!
City: san joseTips: mojo. 18"s from 1.0 hook in 20 to 25 ft.slow.they seem to hit on the pause. spray some craw bang on your plastics.

Water Temp: 73
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: On the lake at 0830. Light breeze so I started with crank and spinner bait shallow. Took one small bass. Move out on main lake structure in 20 ft dropping to 40 ft. Took several fish on drop shot on the top of the structure in 21 ft of water. Moved around the lake fishing deep drops and rock in 15-25 ft of water. Caught fish all over at those depths. No real pattern except the depth and the presents of boat waves over the structure. Caught a total of 17 bass 1.5-2.0 lbs. - half on drop shot and half on a brass-n-glass robo worm all from the 10 to 25 ft of water.
City: Foster CityTips: No pattern except boat waves and wind turned the bite on in 10-25 ft. It seemed better where there was rock and a steep drop or off points. For best results try reaction baits early and switch to plastics on off shore structure if you can find it.

Water Temp: 74-75
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Started rippin as soon as they would let me on the water. Ended up with 3 fish on the rip bait. As the sun got higher I slowed down with C-rigged plastics. Caught 3 on a baby brush hog and 1 more on a 4" roboworm. All fish were cookie-cutter 1.5 to 2 lbs. Off the water at 11.
City: San JoseTips: Lots of fish available here. If you can't get them to chase fast baits slow down with plastics in about 12-18 ft of water. Fish were caught all over the lake...no real pattern besides the water depth.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Got on the water at 4:30. Fished until 7:30. Caught 6 bass with the largest 2lbs. Caught 2 flipping wood with a ceature bait and took 4 on a carolina brush hog. Fish were in 10-15 ft deep outside edge of the weed line or where bottom drops into deeper water. One fish caught on a shallow point.
City: Foster CityTips: Too many boats to fish the middle of the day. Fish didn't bite until 6:00 and later. Fish were off the bank. Only caught fish on soft plastic. Nothing on spinner or jerk bait but didn't spend much time trying.

Report: boat traffic is an issue... especilly if your dropshotting..
City: morgan hillTips: Hey" T" try carolina rig across from the launch ramp..all the way on the other side..100 yard's down.. and use a chartruse lizard... 3 foot leader..and let the boat float.. work's

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Got on the lake at 3:30 and there were tons of boats out so I did't have expectations of catching much. I found a small main lake hump that was 21 ft deep surrounded by 38ft deep water. I threw out a marker and started drop shotting around the marker. Boats were coming by within 30 yrds on my left and right and I was rocked by the wake. In spite of that I caught 9 bass within 10 feet of the marker in a little over an hour. It was a very small area. 15 ft left or right in deeper water and not a bite. I could have kept catching them but wanted to see what else they would hit. I moved off the spot and started throwing along the shore with a carolina brush hog and a texas rigged worm. Caught 6 more real nice fish for a total of 15 up to 3 lbs. Off the water at 7:00 I felt pretty good considering the boat traffic, mid PM, and blue sky.
City: Foster CityTips: Find main lake structure surrounded by deep water that boat waves wash over. Look for fish on the electronics. Even if you don't see any start with a drop shot rig followed by a carolina rig working the top and drop off to locate the fish. The boat waves turn on the bite. I found a 4" perch sticking out of the gut of one bass. These areas are big time feeding areas in the summer if you can find them and can stand the boat traffic.

Water Temp: 79
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: First boat on the water (8AM!). Threw a jerkbait for most of the time along the main lake points. Ended up with 6 on the jerkbait and 2 more on a Carolina-rigged brush hog. Nothing over 1.5lbs. Off the water at 11:00.
City: San JoseTips: Use your favorite summer patters...reaction bite or go deep and slow down.

Water Temp: Hot
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Hot, calm, clear skies. That spells tough fishing especially on a highly pressured lake. Fished from 0730 to noon. Tried top water but only one blowup that missed. Switched to carolina brush hog and picked up three nice fish along the outer weed line in 15 ft of water near a creek channel. Picked up a couple more flipping a hula grub on wood in deeper water 10-15 ft. You had to flip the shady areas of the laydown to get bit. Tough fishing and very hot. Bite ended about 10:30 AM.
City: Foster CityTips: Outside weed edges with soft plastics in 10-15 ft of water. Lots of suspended fish which I made no attempt to catch. I suspect trout. When the sun gets high try flipping and pitching shady laydowns in deep water. After 10:30 find something else to do. Take plenty of water with you.

Water Temp: 68-71
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Anderson is in great shape with level 4-5ft from full. I've had 3 guide trips over the last 10 days and the bite outstanding. However, getting quality is a challenge. Jigs fished in 10-25ft is whats been working for us. Morning bite has been tough with majority of the fish coming from mid morning through the afternoon. Color doesn't seem to matter as much as presentation. A slow drag with the jigs will get bit. 50-60 fish days are common but like I said fish over 2.5lbs are tough to find.
Points are the key and staying out of the wind and wakes will result in fewer fish. Find mud lins and banks that are getting pounded by the ski boats and there are usually some fish around. This is typical post spawn for this lake and bigger fish will start showing up as they always do during the summer. Actually there some nice bass being caught now but there just spread out. There also some bomber crappie around if you concentrate on em.

Water Temp: Warm
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Caught 12 largemouth all in the 1-1.5 pound range except for one at 3 pounds and the other at 5 pounds. All caught southside of the lake. Wierd bite. Most fish seem to grab the bait and stay there. Any time it felt heavy, I set the hook and they were there. It was almost like the feeling when your snagged on some weeds. Usually its just tap tap tap. HAH. Oh Well. Keep Fishin! Even though it's hot, it's still a blast. Just take a dive into the lake once an awhile.
City: Morgan HillTips: Nothing on crank, spinner, or topwater. All plastics. Split Shot or T-rigged.

Water Temp: 79
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Well i sure wish this place was open before 8:00
of course when you get there at 8:00 they still are late.started out on the shallow end of the lake.tried spinnerbait nothing then switched to green and white senko.had two dinks on the senko.
of course the party crowd showed up so i ran down to the other end whrer the bridge is to get away from the crowd.found a very large shallow area that had steep drop off to about 60'of water.started fan casting out to the deep water with a fat frre shad reeling as fast as i could.ended up with nine fish two just over 4lb.the rest all cookie cutter 2lb.fish.wanted to stay and try topwater but was burnt out from crankin so hard.
City: SALINASTips: go back to the bridge area and fan cast out in deep water this time of year you may be surprised.

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Went out and almost got skunked but my friend pulled out a nice 4 pound bass on a senko. The wind was blowin like crazy so it really sucked. Tried to catch the bass on large minnows but couldn't. Thought I would catch a lot on live bait but guess I was wrong. Maybe I was doing something wrong. Just way to windy out there.

Water Temp: warm
Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)
Report: Fished 2 hours in the evening from the bank. Caught 3 cookie cutter bass all healthy 12", could not find any size. All were caught in 15-20 feet deep. Two on traps and one on a green pumpkin spider jig. No hits on drop shot rig.
City: San JoseTips: Let lures sink to bottom.
