Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: My first 10 fish day at Anderson. Based on J.P.'s report started at 0815 at WoodChopper's throwing lizards. One bump. Switched to drop-shot with M.M III worms and picked up 2. One 2# the other 2.5# (biggest for the day). Worked my way north covering the N.E. bank toward the cove with the two rocky points. All the rest caught on Carolina rigged 4" black twirl tailed worm by Renegade (WalMart) drifting along grassy banks. All around 2#. Fun!
City: MontereyTips: Small plastics seemed to be the ticket.

Water Temp: 60-62
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Friday, 23 Mar...picked up 8 LMs to 3.5 lbs using blue and silver rapala x-rap rip bait. Covered a lot of water both north and south from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Water level is up about two feet and stained compared to last week. Aside: One of the two trumpeter swans that hung out in past years at south end beyond the bridge is missing. The remaining swan is now paired and hanging out with a goose. What's up with that?
City: Santa ClaraTips: Vary retrieve with rip baits...pausing for five seconds or longer can bring strikes.

Water Temp: ???
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: Great Day, Had a total of 23 fish between me and my buddy Jared. Most came on drop shot, jigs, senko's and darthead. Most were close to the shore and in the south end of the lake. Threw my spinner bait but nada.
City: WatsonvilleTips: shake shake shake........pause......fish on!

Water Temp: 59-62
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: The fishing was great. I took a couple of buddies with me and we caught over 100 fish. Most of them in the 1lb and 2lb range. A few of them hit the 3lb mark. Most fish came on a worm but i did manage a few from a rip bait and a crank bait. We fished with all colors and they all worked.

Water Temp: 61
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Great fishing at Anderson Sat. Caught 22 bass up to 4.5lbs but most were smaller 1.5 to 2lbs class. Caught 5 on spinner bait, 3 flipping wood, and the rest on soft plastics from 3 ft to 15 ft mostly where there was windy banks and mud lines. The crappie bite is also on. I saw a bank fisherman pick up a slab every 5th cast for a half hour slow rolling a crappie jig under a bobber.
City: Foster CityTips: Work the mud lines with whatever you are confident throwing. If no bites then switch baits and work shallow to deep around any structure you can find. Also they are pumping a lot of water in to fill the lake so you know what that means.

Water Temp: 58-62
Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)
Report: I fished the south end today with excellent results. Caught lots of fish in 1.5 to 2.5lb range. With my biggest going 3.5 & 4lbs. I caught probably 50 fish today which half of them fell to my jerkbait. Though the bigger one's came from a laydown on a senko!!!
City: San JoseTips: As long as you have shade you can catch'em on reaction bait's!!!

Water Temp: 56 - 63
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Fish the Day with my wife, Started out up north before the Boarders got out... nothing happening. Moved to the middle of the lake picked up a few, then moved to the west side, south of the launch, picked up four in one spot then moved more south, water temp went up and so did the fishing. Went into the very back of Frenches Cove... as far back as you could go, only 3 - 6 feet deep. Saw about 20 - 30 good size babies cruisin' around, they wouldn't touch a thing I threw, ther were some that went up to about 6lb's. Finished the Day with 18 fish, biggest only 1.7lb's, most caught on Drop-shot with Baby Bass Cut-Tail, a few on AAron's Magic and two on Senko's. Another fun Day.
City: Pacifica, CaTips: Find the Rocks and fish till you find the Depth they're at, Today it was 5 - 15 feet in later afternoon.

Water Temp: 55-63
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: I hit up the south end around 1pm and started out with a shaky head, I had no bites, so i tied on a blade and what can I say, a nice 3lbr and then a few small ones. I kept using the blade a picked up about 10 fish in three hours. I tlaked toa guy that had been fishing a shaky head and he had 20+ for the day. I found a few on the shaky head but the nicer fish hit the blade.

Water Temp: 61.2
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Partner and I caught 12, 6 keepers. 3 were over 15". Of those three, two were caught on Spinnerbait in 3' of water. The others were by Drop-Shot Roboworms in 12' to 20' of water.
City: Santa ClaraTips: Fished the mud lines on flat windy banks. The fish seem to be moving up to bed. The bite is very aggressive if you can find them. Good luck and Tight Lines!

Water Temp: 58
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Big change since last week. First the water temp went from 52 to 58-59 deg. Second the wind was up. Caught 22 LM biggest 3lbs. Had a back seater for 2 hrs and he caught 7. All caught on lizzard and brush hog in 6-15 ft on wind blown shallows with a mud line just as Team Dean experienced. Nothing on spinner or crank in the same areas I caught them on with plastics.
City: Foster CityTips: Fish are getting active and moving shallow with the increase in water temp. The reaction bite should start soon. Try reaction baits first (more fun) and if no bite where there should be fish then go with plastics fished shallow to deep.

Water Temp: 52
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Beautiful WX but tough fishing. Caught 9 but had to work for them and didn't really get a pattern going -catch one fish, move and switch baits. My first cast of the day was against the shore on a point in 1 ft of water and 2.5lb LM grabbed it. The rest were caught from 6 to 23ft off points and steep drops on brush hog, drop shot robo in AArons Magic, and TX rigged creature tube bait. Tried crank, jerk, and spinnerbait off and on all day with no luck. Got to meet PapaJohn on the ramp and he had a great day drop shotting deep. Congrats!
City: Foster CityTips: Fish are really scattered. Start with your confidence bait in various depths and switch if you don't get bit in areas where you know there are fish. Remember that one fish does not a pattern make.
-
Water Temp: 52 - 54+
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: My best day at Anderson. Caught 5, 1-2#. South of the launch ramp, west side off of rocky points. One on a watermelon with red flake tube, the rest drop shotting a 6" RoboWorm M.M. III, straight tail on a red hook in 30-40' of water. (Thanks Coyote Bait and Tackle for that recommendation!) All between 0800 and 1200. After that nothing.
City: MontereyTips: Nice meeting you T2!

Water Temp: 51
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: Cold windy tough conditions. Very few boats on the water. Caught 10 bass the largest 4lbs. No real pattern. Fish were scattered. Picked them up in a variety of locations and depths from 28 ft to 8ft. Caught them on drop-shot robo, brush hog, and crank bait. Larger fish ate the crank off the deep edge of a wind blown flat.
City: Foster CityTips: Overcast day seemed to scatter the fish. Start shallow and work deep or vice versa. Start with your confidence bait but switch out if you are not getting bit in an area you know holds fish.

Water Temp: N/A
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)
Report: On the water at 9am and headed to the north end and tried the prominent points. Fish seemed to be scattered and moving up the water column as the water temp heats up. Most fish were suspended 15 feet off the bottom in about 55 feet of water. Didn't see too many schools of shad so fish were scattered. Dificult day on the lake with only 8 fish between me and my friend. Big fish at 3 lbs and another at 2.5 lbs the rest were dinker-doos.
City: Watsonville, CaTips: Drop shot with a long distance between hook and sinker may increase hookups. Also use DT-hula grubs jigged in 15-25 feet deep. Good luck and keep the posts coming for all lakes!
