    Water Temp: good

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: I fished the south end of the like pulled out about 50 bass on motoroil senkos texas rigged. I really dont know why i caught so many fish because ive fished this like for the past 5 years and ive never had like this. Woohooo!
Biggest bass caught was around 6 pounds.
    City: Gilroy

    Tips: fish with senkos

    Water Temp: 70-74

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Calero has been really good for me lately in the mornings and in the evenings. Most of my fish were caught around weeds and off rock walls and rocky points. I have been getting good morning topwater bites, especially today. Most fish caught today were on the south end really close to the weed mats on buzz baits. We totalled 9 on buzzbaits today in 2 hours. All were around 2 lbs. My biggest fish in the past weeks has been a 3.2 on a spinnerbait reeled real slow right next to a submerged weed bed. When the sun gets high I turn to carolina rigging, shaking brush hogs, and dropshotting off of points, and rock walls. Numbers of fish have been alright but the size of my fish haven't been too big. Good Luck guys.
    City: San Jose

Tips: Roboworms, revenge spinnerbaits and buzzbaits, lucky craft jerkbaits, brush hogs and rat-l-traps. get there in the morning, or get there after 4:00.

    Water Temp: ?

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Father's Day + Sunday = many, many boats at Calero. However, this didn't seem to scare the fish too much. Fished the north shore from 4:30 to 8:30 PM and caught three, with the largest at 1 pound 10 oz. The other two were dinks, very small. Largest and one dink fell victim to a 6" white Yamamoto grub rigged Texposed with a splitshot right at the head of the lure, which is an excellent substitute for a spinnerbait in the currently weedy conditions. One bass took a 4" pumpkin senko. Two other anglers reported a 4 pounder on 5" cinnamon senko, and six between the 2 and 2 1/2 pound range on shallow-diving crankbaits burned through the mudlines created by all the boats. Legitimate reports, who knows? However, Calero has been pretty decent in the summer months in the past. Go check it out, jerky.
    City: Belmont, CA

Tips: Shallow runners will keep you above the weeds. Dropshotting resulted in the weight getting stuck in all the moss on the bottom. Work the mudlines, perhaps???

Report: Good day. Caught 3, all on different rigs. First one at 1.5 lbs on a 1/2 oz. white spinnerbait reeled in slow. He hit it really hard. Second one again 1.5 lbs on a Carolina rigged Yum Crawbug in Tequila Sunrise. Again hit really hard. Third one was 4 lbs and it absolutely exploded on my white buzzbait! Awesome. Had a couple more hits on the C-rig and buzzbait. Hooked what was probably another 1.5 lber on the buzzbait, but he unbuttoned. A fun day. I was amped for a long time after the 4 lber.
    City: Fremont

Tips: No pattern, though the buzzbait from about 6pm on was alot of fun. Talked to another guy who has been catching them in the evenings on a frog.

    Water Temp: ? I didn't even

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Was checking out the livewell pumps after repair for 2 hours on the water. I boated 4 keepers nothing big, but the dissipointing part was I missed good hook sets on at least 6 others in that 2 hours. Really makes you think about your setups.
    City: San Jose

Tips: Most fish were hitting the Lipless Crank or Speedtrap. I picked up one Senko fish that missed the spinnerbait and tossed in where he hit is and caught him. Fished from 4:30 - 6:30 PM.

    Good Luck

    Water Temp: 68-71

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Launched at 8.00, I hit two(1lbrs) on a long shallow point on a ripbait in 4-8ft of water. Then my buddy hit one on a spinnerbait in a small cove(2lbs). My buddy got one flippin' by a tree with a senko.(2lbs) Then he got another on a spinnerbait in the big cove in the back. I got one on a ratltrap in some weeds. Those two were about 1-2 lbs. Went home then launched again at 5.00. Took my girl alicia and she got a 3 lbr on a brush hog near the rock wall. I got a 2 lbr on a brush hog in a cove and my buddy got a nice fat 2 lbr near the first dam on a spinnerbait. Fun day but we want bigger fish!!!!!!
    City: San Jose

Tips: Rat-l-traps and spinnerbaits in the weeds. Hit the points and get there early or late.

Report: HEAVY winds, should've just gone home and done yard work. Got one dink on a black and white spinnerbait, a few taps on a senko, but nothing else. I noticed the few real nice bass boats out there didn't seem to mind the wind, but my little aluminum was being blown all over. My anchor wouldn't even stay put when I switched over to drop shotting! Bad day to try to fish, the advantage was there was only two ski boats out at any given time.
    City: SJ

Tips: Seems jerkbaits or spinnerbaits are the go-to right now. Mario, sorry to hear about that monster lost at the boat, nothing worse than seeing it then losing it. Luckily with my bigguns I've got to get pictures before releasing.

Report: Launched at 5.00pm. Wind was blowin like crazy. My doctor says I have tendonidis so my shoulder is freakin' hurtin. So bad i can barely fish. Awesome right? Well anyways, hit a dink on the rock wall with a brush hog and 3 others on a black and chrome ratl trap. largest was 1.5lbs. (that was the only thing i could throw that didn't hurt my shoulder.) My partner got a 2 lbr on a white buzz bait right near the boat.

Report: fished small cove, northwest corner of the lake - threw shad colored spinner all day, landed some dinks early in the morning. Mid-afternoon hooked up to a fish must of weighed between ten and thirteen pounds, beautiful fish didnt land him though, he unbuttoned about four feet from the boat. I thought for sure that would of been my largest bass yet! a lot of recreational boat activity, over-all not a bad day.
    City: san jose

Tips: spinners in 4-10 feet of water - look for obvious ambush points.

    Water Temp: 65-70

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Launched out at about 3.00pm. The wind was howlin' all day. Hit a 3 lbr right away on a pointer 100. Didn't get anything again until about 6.00. My girl Alicia caught a 2.5lbr on a texas rigged brush hog off the rock wall. We worked the whole rock wall with brush hogs, spinnerbaits and crankbaits. Nothin until about 7.00 when my girl hooked into her first toad, it was takin line and pullin like crazy and all she could say was "OH S%$T! OH SH*t!". Then before we knew it, it unbuttoned. She coulndn't believe how it felt. She was bummed.

    Water Temp: Average 68

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: First day on my new bass boat. Had one (1.5lb) on a carolina rigged lizard in a cove midday, another one on the same rig off a point. That one(2.3lb) followed my lizard all the way to the top and smacked it right next to the boat. That was mid day. Had hits drop shotting but didn't land any. Bite didn't pick up until about 5.30. Ripbaits (Lucky Craft pointer 78 Ghost minnow) in some weeds. Nailed 4 there(all around 1.5-2lb). Then hit up a rock wall and nailed a 4.3 lbr on a carolina rigged brush hog.
    City: San Jose

Tips: hit the points and sudden drop offs. Use reaction baits later in the day. Smaller size baits for more numbers.

    Water Temp: unknown

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Beautiful day on the lake, wish I could say the same for the fishing. Fished the north shore between picnic tables and Yamamoto Point from 8 AM to 1 PM, only producing two dinks on a 4" ROBO worm, dropshot rig. Got about 20 or more strikes, but landed only two, both under limit. No takers on a white spinnerbait.
    City: Belmont, CA

Tips: Lots of moss on the bottom. Almost impossible to fish any type of plastic on the bottom, weighted or otherwise, unless you know of areas without the moss. Dropshot rig will probably get lots of hits, but I wouldn't expect anything huge. Try a 6" Senko in the Porto-O-San by picnic tables!

    Water Temp: ?

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Went out on my friend Jesses boat (might be mine pretty soon)so we got to fish many parts of the lake. We hit up the banks and points in between the two damns first thing in the morning and got them on Spinnerbaits and ripbaits. The reaction bite was on for about 2 hours until the sun popped out. Went to the south end and I hooked a huge one on my ripbait, it was takin line and I thought i had my first Toad, well it was a carp. A huge one at that. I hooked it in its belly. None on the south end though. Then we carolina rigged lizards and dropshotted roboworms on points and rock walls on the main lake with occaisionally throwin'ripbaits. Did really good all day. Jesse caught a bunch(he lost count) and I landed 6 and unbuttoned 3. Biggest one all day was 3.3 pounds. The rest were all 1-2lbs.
    City: San Jose

Tips: Reaction bite is good in the morning. Slow down in the day. If you see mudlines in the day, throw a ripbait to em'. I freakin love those things.

Report: threw spinners and crank-baits - no luck. Landed a 2# fish on a senko. Missed a few strikes using a frog.

In the last two weeks of fishing this lake I have came home and found two ticks on me. Has anyone else had this happen??
    City: san jose

Tips: Lots of hits on the black and blue flake senkos. It seems like the bite is slowing down.

    Water Temp: ~65

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Arrived around 6:30, fished from shore by the right side of the parking area for 45 min..nothing. Moved over to the left side and fished margarita senkos in the weeds near shore. Had one hit right away but missed it, then 10 min pulled in a nice 5 pounder which hit my senko as soon as it hit the water. Guy wading in the weeds near the picnic tables caught several nice ones including a 9 pounder on senkos. Guy next to me caught what looked like a 2 pounder on a spinnerbait and then proceeded to stick it in a plastic bag and let the thing die slow..jeez if you are gonna not practice catch and release at least do it mercifully! Must be the mercury at work on the brain...lol
    City: San Jose

Tips: any shade of green senko seems to work. White spinnerbaits
