    Water Temp: 48-50

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Cold water temps and change in weather had a sluggish bass bite. A few small spots can be picked up in 25 to 35 feet of water with dart heads and drop shots. Aaron's magic and shad patterns are good color choices.

Report: in a recent won bass tournement over the weekend it took 10lbs and some change to win it, me and my partner took 6th place with 7.55 pounds, had to weed through the small one to get to the bigger ones, we found that some fish have moved up, but still graphing lots of bait fish deeper in the 20+ range, with cooling water temps look for bait fish to start moving up, and of course the bass will be close behind, oh yea we caught our fish on plastics, and a couple on jigs, i herd that two or three of the bigger ones weighed in came on spooks, good luck Marv.
    City: Taft

Tips: fall pattern means focuse on the bait fish and you will find the bass, and also hooksets are free.

    Water Temp: 80

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Summer heat and fast dropping lake levels made fishing challenging. We did well on main lake points and steep walls with plastics early (sunrise to 11 am) Only a couple top water fish with most of the others on drop-shot in shad colors. Lots of bait in lake and finding feeding bass was difficult. They are all throughout the water column from 2 to 50 feet. Our best results where in 20-30ft, but caught some shallow early on and some deeper later.
    City: Fresno

Tips: Get on the lake early before the extreme heat and drink lots of water.

    Water Temp: 74-78

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: Wow haven't posted in a while but had to mention fishing in 30 mi wind. Don't do it! We still landed around 15 fish largest being 2-3 lbs. Watermelon sinko and or 6" purple death (Pine favorite) also 6" robo worms clear. The kicker was they were biting but with the wind... very hard to get into the best position.
    City: Clovis

Tips: Let your sinko sinko all the way to the bottom.....
be patient. look for sunken trees and watch out for rattlers...one tried to swim in my boat the other day.

    Water Temp: 60-64 Degrees

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: I fished Pine Flat on Friday and Sunday in the evening from 2pm-6:30pm. Friday was the first time I had been on the lake this year and I had to look around quite a bit before I found anything promising. I should have known I was in for trouble when my first fish was a 3 lb catfish caught on a dart headed smallie beaver. Ended up finding some fish up shallow on a shady steep bank throwing a wacky rig senko. My 4 year old even hooked up by himself on the senko.

Sunday was a much better bite for me. Had both kids and the wife with me so I thought I better hit that stretch of bank I found on Friday. We started cruising down the bank throwing senkos with no luck and a little too much breeze for them to fish the senko effectively. I looked down at the graph and told my wife to grab the drop shot rod I had rigged for the boys. She was hooked up before it even hit the bottom. It was on from there. We never moved more than 50 yards in about 4 hours. It was a perfect bite for having the whole family in the boat. No casting, just dropping. Caught approx. 30 bass with a good mixture of spots and largemouth. Nothing big, but did catch some nice keeper sized fish.
    City: Clovis

Tips: In the area I found it seemed the fish were moving up and down on steeper banks. Saw signs of bait in the 20 ft range in this area. We used shad colored plastics, however one fish puked up a crawdad. Water temp shows the fish should be actively feeding and some should be bedding by now. Did talk to some that did see bed fish and said they caught a 3lber off a bed. I'm itchin to go by myself so I can look around shallower. Should be able to run into some larger fish with these water temps.

Report: Started with a slow bight in the A.M. Picked up in mid. morning! SENKOS!!!
    City: Hanford

Tips: Males are searching in shallows, water temp. will only go up. shallow Points with drop off seems to be best bet! Senko produced nice fish!!
Evening bight has been the best...6-8

    Water Temp: 50-55

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Fished Sat. Bite on brown jigs early in the Am. 4 keepers UP river in the trees. Slowed way down after 10 or so but I did have some hits on Crawdad plastics and a few on slow spinners and deep cranks. The lake was full of boats prefishing for the 100% this weekend not many people with fish hitting.
    City: Fresno

Tips: Best bet early on the banks with steep slopes. Move to dropshot around 10 or so if your just there to catch fish as you have to work for the bigger ones. Try the back of coves with some water left in them the deeper the better.
    Good luck

Report: Fished American Bass tournament and partner boated a 5.12 pound small mouth. We had to slow it way down and pulled a mojo rigged yamamoto shad pattern 4.5 inch worm across the rock drop offs (past trimmer) to the bottom at 45 foot. Hooked several other 10 - 12 inchers and a few teams limited.
    City: Fresno

Tips: Slow it way down and spend time where you see fish on your electronics.

Report: Fished Pine Flat today, from 9AM until 4PM. Had to work real hard for 7 fish. 6 spots and 1 LM, all 11-14 inches.. Caught all fish past trimmer in about 45 ft of water. Only thing that worked was a prizm shad roboworm on a dropshot. Blanked on jigs, spoons,SB, etc. Spent alot of the day cruising and staring at the graph looking for fish but saw very few, much less bunched up. Water was very calm and all in all a nice day on the water.

Tips: Graph a few fish before dropping the t/m

    Water Temp: 57

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: The bite has been a little tougher here. There are fish from 30 to 70 feet on drop shots in shad colors and small spoons. With the right weather, wind, overcast, rip baits in trout or shad color will work. Jigs in craw colors are working between 25-40 feet. Very light bite. Caught a few slow rolling a tail spinner at about 40 feet. There are fish on sever different patters right now. Today, most fish were suspended in about 30 feet. The only fish we caught today were in about 60 feet. Good luck
    City: fresno

Tips: If you have wind and overcast dont be afraid to throw a rip bait. Bass have been chasing trout around the banks. Otherwise find fish on your electronics and drop right on top of them in 50-70 feet.

    Water Temp: 54-57

Report: Bite was slow for most of the day. Best action came up past trimmer in 15-25 ft with jigs falling of the edge of rocks and drop shotting in the deeper water with shad colored plastics.
    City: Fresno

Tips: Jig bite was very subtle and slow presentation yielded better results.

    City: Fresno

Report: Don't remember what the water temperature was but got in the water at 5:45 am and cranked on the main. Hooked first two fish with a crankbait within 5 minutes. Cranked again in Windy Gap but no takers. Went to a senko and found lots of small fish up to 11 inches. Went up river by 10:00 am and this time threw a darterhead 1/8 oz. shad color 4 inch worm. Shook darter head first two cast and lot two fish up to 2 pounds. My buddy also lost two fish a few minutes later in the same range. All together had about 50+ fish but all small ones. Nothing big. Seen a few 5 to 6 pounders breaking top water but couldn't get them with top water popr's at noon.
    City: Fresno

Tips: Should've top water early until 7:00 am but didn't do it. I will be there again in a couple weeks to try different things.
