      Water Temp: 65

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Got on the water at 2pm and noticed the water was 65 degrees, so immediately went looking or bed ish. Lake was so stirred up rom all the Gaswasters that it made it impossible to see any beds. We tried the New York Cove area with blades and crankbaits in the mudlines, but had no success. We decided to go look or clearer water and do some inessing. That was the ticket, as we ended up putting around 40 ish in the boat, including a 3 pound spot and a 5 pound largemouth. The ish were caught in the north ork on rip baits and lizards. Best 5 ish went around 15#'s.
      City: roseville, ca

Tips: While there is a ton o ish to be caught right now, deinately try and ish on a weekday. The boat traic on the lake is brutal.

      Water Temp: 59-64

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Fished early morning and into the evening. Caught 9 bass. Biggest was over 2 pounds at night on a magic worm(witches T). Great day on the lake, except or the loser pleasure boaters running around wasting gas and making waves. I elt like throwin my rattle trap with treble hooks at a dumb ass wake boarder coming into the smallest o coves at Melones. Dumb asses. Bass should be climbing onto the bed big time this week. Might have to call in sick(cough, cough).
      City: San Jose

Tips: Slow, shaking worms did the trick or me.

      Water Temp: 58-63

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: ,ished primarily way up in the Angels creek arm but also ished area above Parrotts erry bridge . First ish o day on char/white spinnerbait real shallow (3 lbs). Once sun was on the water started split shotting with Iovino small tom cats in S20 color. Caught 2 ish @ 10 t (1.5& 2.5 lbs)Tossed a watermelon Senko by big rock and got 2 lb bass.Went to above Parrotts erry and ished down to Angels arm. Caught two more ish on tomcat worm (1.5 & 2 lbs) on two casts 5-10 t. deep. It was now around 11:00 and the bite abruptly stopped. Bites now on worms were just pecks and when ish did hold bait you would lose worm on hookset without hooking ish .Went back to Angels creek at 1pm and caught a small keeper and a 12"er on Senko .Caught a at 2.5 lb bass on brown jig /craw combo around running water.Threw 8" Bastrix swimbait down creek channel in same spot and caught a 14! Thats inches not pounds I couldn't believe a bass that size would hit such a big bait. Probably a male on a nest.
      City: Pioneer

Tips: Every ish I caught was 0-10' deep though I saw lots o ish deeper on sonar.I did see some small males on nests and abandoned nests too. Fish latter cuts and coves and all the better in water is running in. The ull ledged spawn is not on but they're thinking about it so ish around spawning type areas . Brown/green worms w/red& green lake, senkos

We caught em on several dierent colors, but a shad color worked best since these ish were gorginging on minnows. Only 3 were over the slot, but dang did my 12 yr old have a ball!!

Report: Arrived at 11AM, only caught 1 fish(2 lbs) I was using a 4" June Bug Power Worm. It was very windy out there, and alot of idiots on Jet Skies...very annoying! I fished off the boat ramp, caught the 1 fish in about 8-10 FT of water. I'll come back soon!

      Water Temp: Lower 60's

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: I walked the bank from the north point of Miner's Cove to about a quarter mile into Cherry Cove. I fished from 3:00 PM until sunset and landed five fish (one 12-inch dink, and the rest were in the 2 to 4 pound range). The largest fish was 18 inches, and like the other keepers I caught, she was fat with eggs. All of the fish I caught were on their nests (I think) but hadn't spawned. I used a crawdad-colored shad rap, a 4 1/2 inch black curly-tailed worm, and a shad-patterned spinnerbait to catch my fish. Nice day fishing, but the skiers were a little annoying. Return your fish to their nesting sites.
      City: Campbell

Tips: The fish didn't fight that hard. The water is still a bit cool. I don't have any lure suggestions, but I caught all of my fish while bumping my bait along the bottom with a steady, deliberate, slow to moderate retrieve.

Report: Left Lazy M around 6:00 AM. Hit the tule flats on the way out to Victoria slough. Boated a couple of nice ones on Gr weenies. Wind picked up around 9:00 and blew us off some great spots. Ended up fishing any slough or depression off of Old River. Picked up a couple more (gr/weenies. Got tired of the slow action and wind so we headed back into Italian slough. Fished right on top of the vegetation no deeper that 6-7 ft. Caught a total of 12 for the day but they were very nice 1# to 5#. Threw the tackle box at them but they only wanted the gr/ weenies.

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: I could articulate a report o a wonderul, soul ulilling experience o catching bass in beautiul spring conditions. Or, I could say we spanked em. Let's go with number two.20+ all species to 3lbs on chartruese spinnerbaits in the willows everywhere. A ew big largemouths are on beds, but the're alicted with lock jaw. Way more un to have 2 & 3lb warriors repeatedly pound your avorite spinnerbait until it's a worthless, mangled piece. Just when they thought they'd worn it out, I whipped out a back up. (I'm always this prepared.) Lake is up, weather is good, and the bass are biting. On the downside my reel is in the shop, and surgery on my arm is inevitable. Great day- I'm having my smoking heap o a spinnerbait encased and ramed so I can hang it on the wall.
      City: El Dorado Hills

Tips: It's all about the spawn. Smallmouth are done and pulling o, largemouth are getting on the beds, and spots are plump and staging. Best part is this makes them all located in nearly the same places. Bed ish or largemouths i your'e into that, otherwise blitz the cover with reaction baits.

Report: My partner and I got on the lake at about 9am. Water was pretty cool. Not much action until ater noon. I caught one, maybe three pounds on a craw pattern crankbait. We got a couple more bites, but nothing to write home about. Never got onto the ish. I heard rom my other buddy that he ound water as warm as 69 in the south end. He said he caught ive 2-lbers in an hour on a white spinnerbait. Then they just quit. We saw a ew small males in the shallows, and one 10+ sow, but they weren't guarding anything yet. Next ull moon - April 8th.
      City: sonora

Tips: The ish were STILL in about 15 eet o water.
