I listened to the podcast and he claimed there were tournaments on the lake almost every weekend so it can't be a super secret spot. Don Pedro is the only lake I know of around here where there are tournaments every weekend.
He was fishing off the shore and throwing a Baitsmith Mag. Said he was crawling it back. How does he not get hung up and lose multiple baits a trip? Maybe he had a kayak nearby?

Isn’t that the same Jared Kiernan who cheated and ripped off dozens of fishermen on multiple fishing sites including this one by selling the same baits and reels to multiple buyers, collecting the money and then never delivering? I can’t be the only guy who remembers this douche bag.

REALLY surprised me that WB would do anything to promote this guy after he ripped off so many members on this site.

@Bassdaddy
WB wasn't trying to promote someone that "ripped off" people.
The news was about the fish being caught.
Once the conversation started about the "ripping off", the post was left up as taking it down would be taken as WB "hiding" that fact. WB decided better to leave up so that readers will have the information of what others have said they experienced.

Might as well leave it up. Now we have a picture of thief. He probably thought everybody forgot.
It's a nice fish but I had doubts that fish was 14lbs and now I really have my doubts. Even if its as big as he claims nobody is going to believe that liar/thief.

Hello,
Jared Kiernan here. Just to clear some things up:
I have never ripped off anyone period. Post all the links you want. Look at those dates. Do some research and you will find that I am not involved in any type of scamming. Have I been accused? Yes. Bassdaddy has been one of the most vocal and has stirred up plenty support, but with zero proof. Accusations only. Also its been about what, 10 years ago since those accusations were brought up? But if someone mentions my name in 2020 and its right back to the same stuff. So here I am, if you feel I have ever scammed you ever since the beginning of time to today please feel free to message me and lets get to the bottom of it. I am on multiple websites for years with absolutely zero issues.
I have fought really hard to reestablish my reputation and build a new one. I work hard at making my company be tops in customer service and help out and donate to all sorts of fishing clubs and tournaments.
I have worked and collaborated with the following companies;
UFO Bait Company
F5 Custom Rods
PondscumAnglers
BL8NKT
Swimbait Culture
SwimbaitUniverse
FMCT Bait Company
BABC
I sincerly hope everyone who reads this can form their own opinion and not just jump on board with the VERY few people who want to throw hate and shade at me. I have nothing to hide. Please feel free to reach out if you have any issues that you want to discuss. I am open to hear them Have a great day!!
Jared Kiernan

So the DOZENS OF GUYS who called you out ON MULTIPLE SITES for being a scammer were all making it up?
Getting on this board and playing the "There's no proof" card doesn't change what you did back then. There was plenty of proof at the time and you chose to run and hide after it all caught up to you. Now that you are trying to get back into the industry you are trying to do damage control on your reputation and you're hoping people will forget. I know enough time has passed that there are a whole new group of targets out there but all people have to do is Google your name and they can see for themselves who and what you are. Now that you've come out of hiding I have no problem warning people about you.
I hear Mike Long is still denying his nefarious actions and claiming there is no proof.

I did a search as suggested, just to see if this was true. Seems to be no doubt, lots of ripped off folks, as recent as 5 years ago or so:
