Does anyone know Jared Kiernan? Please ask him to contact me. Our dealing has dragged on way too long. He needs to either send me the reel or refund my money.

This guy hosed me on a deal on this site a couple of years ago and most recently he had multiple problems on another site. Now that you've called him out publicly he'll either run and hide or contact you with a contrived hard-luck story.
Sorry to see he's back on this site working his scams.

Now I have received two PMs from 2 respected members sharing same story about this scam artist. My fear for the worst is realized. What do we need to do to ban this guy? How do I contact the Mods? We don't want the same thing to happen to another WB member.

Harry...I just sent a message to admin@westernbass.com so they would know your situation is not an isolated incident.
If everyone else who has had a problem with this guy does the same I'm sure they will take appropriate action to attempt to protect other members.

TTT. Now that more members have came forward on this scamming SOB, here are more details:
JARED KIERNAN posted reel for sale on the classified and we agreed on a price, which I paid him via PP promptly. When I saw no reel in the mail for a few days, I contacted him through PM, he stated that there was an unexpected death in the family and he can either refund my money or send the reel out ASAP. I chosed to get the reel and asked for a tracking number after he sent the reel. At which point, he sent me a bogus USPS number. When the tracking failed through the USPS site, I tried to PM him but at that point he just stopped reading and responding to my PMs. While tracking his movement, I see that he continued to be active on FB and on the net. I can never understant how a person can be such a blatant lier and lives with himself. Apparently he has pulled this scam many times to others on this and other sites. I want to warn everyone.

You should be able to chase PayPal for a refund if he didn't send the merchandise

it isnt the first time and you all have proof. Why not press charges? You know his name and im sure someone on here knows where he lives. Drive over and give him a knock on the door. It isnt hard to find him when you know his name. This is a small world in the bass fishing community.

Has anyone that he has ripped off contacted the Elk Grove Police Dept. or Sacramento Sheriffs Office? If he has defrauded alot of individuals it could amount to Grand Theft. Just a thought.

Fortunally I used PP and PP was able reimburse all money after couple weeks of pursuing him and his bank. I can't beleiv ehe is still around.

You have to contact the Elk Grove PD and file a complaint to do it leagally. Enough complaints and the DA will get involved. if he has scammed enough people it could be Grand Theft.
