Two Plastics That Berryessa Bass Are Eating Right Now

Best Bass Tournaments (BBT) angler, Dustin Keen doing work - getting ready for the Northern Region Opener on February 24th at Lake Berryessa.

Keen's fish came on the NEW Berkley PowerBait MaxScent D-Worm and Hit Worm. Both baits were fished on Canopy Grenade's "The Dart". See both worm rigs below.

HIT WORM

Keen chose the Hit Worm because it is compact in length; but has a chunky, round profile that tapers down towards the tail and then flares back out. This designs allows for a lot of movement for such a short bait.

D WORM

His other lure, the D-Worm, has  the supple properties of a handpour, but the round shape that isn't typical of a handpoured worm. The MaxScent puts this bait over the top!

Keen threw both baits on an 7' Abu Garcia Ike Rod matched with a Revo Spinning Reel (See Video Below). His line choice was 17-lb Berkley Nano with a 6-lb Trilene 100% Fluorocarbon leader.
