Mustad Grip-Pin Ned Jigheads
The Ned Rig has taken over bass fishing and that was evident at this year’s ICAST. Several companies created their own version of the mushroom jighead meant for the small plastics using this finesse rig. What separates Mustad’s version is the use of their Grip-Pin system that keeps the bait in place. Plastics sliding down the shank of the hook or twisting is a common issue with this rig and the Grip-Pin should keep it secure much longer than other jigheads available.
It is available in 1/8, 3/16, and ¼-ounce sizes. Another key difference with Mustad’s version is that it comes in three different hook sizes for all three different head sizes. They are all available in 1/O, 2/O and 3/0. This allows anglers to use bigger plastics and still get a good hookup percentage when fishing the Ned Rig.
Mustad Straight Wacky Rig Hook
This straight shank hook will be perfect for wacky rigs, Neko rigs and the smaller size will also be a great option for dropshot fishing. It features a thin design and since it is a Mustad, it is a very sharp hook.

Mustad Hook Replacement Kit
The hook changing kits have everything you need to change trebles. They have two different options coming, a finesse version and one for swapping hooks and split rings on big crankbaits. The kits have hooks, Mustad snaps, split rings and pliers. The pliers that are included are also from Mustad and are stainless steel and also have braid cutters included on the pliers.
Mustad Big Eye Bucktail Jig
Hair jigs are becoming more and more popular for bass anglers who have discovered that they work great for bass keying on shad. The new Big Eye Bucktail jig comes in sizes from 1/8 -ounce all the way up to 8-ounce for saltwater anglers. They will have three sizes for bass anglers: 1/8, ¼, 3/8, and ½-ounce.
One of the key features of the jig is that has two separate line ties that will change how the bait can be fished.
The jig has a traditional 90-degree line tie for casting and one directly on the nose of the jig for a more vertical approach when jigging deep water.

Mustad makes much more than just hooks and this year at ICAST they showed off several new items that will help anglers while they are on the water.
Mustad Seat Post Tool Sheath
Every boat has a few pair of pliers and they are always hard to find when you need them most. When trying to unhook a thrashing fish they are usually in the middle of the boat or just out of reach. Mustad saw this problem and created a sheath for the pliers and other tools and the sheath mounts directly to your pedestal seat with Velcro.
Mustad Waterproof Duffle
Also new for Mustad is a waterproof duffle bag that can also be worn as a backpack. It is built solid and will keep your extra clothes of valuable items dry in all conditions.

There are several new storage options coming from Mustad and the wallets are built for storing soft plastics, spinnerbaits and more. They are built to be extremely waterproof and durable, with waterproof zippers and plastic rings to prevent the rust that can happen with metal rings.
