This year at ICAST, Power-Pole shallow water anchors = added two brand new products that will help boaters – a marine charging system and a tablet that also controls boat accessories. Also new are two spike options for the Power-Pole Micro.

Power-Pole VISION
Tablets are a part of our everyday life and now there is a brand new one designed specifically for boaters. The Power-Pole VISION is a tablet that manages all of your boat accessories. The touch-screen device allows you to control anything on your boat that has an On/Off switch, including your Power-Pole shallow water anchors. The digital dash can replace any gauges, controls, and switches you have on your boat and allow all of the controls to be managed through the touch screen. With the NMEA connectivity, boaters can now see things like speed, rpm, and fuel levels right on the bright screen that can be mounted on flush or on a gimbal or RAM mount.
The screen was built to allow for view in full sun and can also be viewed while wearing polarized sunglasses. It also has a nighttime setting for easy view in low light and night conditions. The tablet runs on the Android platform meaning it can run any apps that available for Android phones. This allows you to utilize mapping apps, social media, live streaming, checking email and more – all while on the water. The VISION also has a camera that allows for hands-free pictures, which will be helpful for anglers fishing by themselves and eliminate bad fish “selfies”.

Power-Pole CHARGE Marine Power Station
Battery management is a big part of the equation for bass anglers. Obviously having optimized trolling motor batteries is crucial to stay on the water as long as possible and a dead cranking battery can quickly ruin your day. The new CHARGE Marine Power Station fixes these problems and ensures that all your batteries are as charged as they can be.
How it works:
The CHARGE is the world’s first AC/DC and bi-directional DC/DC battery charger and marine power management tool. It is more than just a charger because it shares battery power between all batteries and also charges the cranking battery when the engine is running. As the unit charges the cranking battery, it shares the power to the trolling motor batteries. It is compatible with all battery types including Lead Acid, AGM, GEL, and Lithium.
CHARGE also manages and charges while the boat is on shore. Like a standard charger, it will charge batteries while plugged in. It will automatically charge the cranking battery and up to three trolling motor batteries and will balance the power for the trolling motor batteries as it charges. When in use it will also move power to the cranking battery from trolling motor batteries if power is needed to start the outboard.
CHARGE also works with the new VISION tablet and smart phone app for a current and instant status of charge rate, battery power levels, and diagnostics. It is water resistant and has an automatic start feature included.

Power-Pole Micro Anchor Ultra-lite Spike and Heavy-duty Spike
The Power-Pole Micro now has two new options for spikes. These can be used on the electric Power-Pole Micro and manually with the Micro spike driver. They both come with the Power-Pole unconditional lifetime warranty.
Micro Anchor Ultra-lite Spike
The Ultra-Lite version is a ¾” composite spike. It can be used to hold canoes, small boats, paddleboards and kayaks up to 1500lbs. It comes in both 8.5 and 6-foot sizes. It is built to allow for mounting of a flag, light or camera at the top of the spike.
Micro Anchor Heavy-duty Spike
This beefed up version is similar to the Ultra-Lite but instead, uses a solid composite material instead of a hollow like the HollowCore used in the Ultra-lite. This spike can be used for bigger boats like flats boats, bass boats, pontoons and comes in the 8.5-foot size.
