Rat-L-Trap Rundown with Mark Daniels Jr. - Color Selection

The final installment in the Rat-L-Trap Rundown with Mark Daniels Jr. has the FLW Tour pro weighing in on the color selection that he would use for mid-April on the California Delta.

Here is what he had to say...

'TRAP #6 - COLOR SELECTION

I would strongly suggest any of the crawdad colors.  There are several different hues of red - Rayburn Red, Pinch'n Peach and Red Crawfish.

I would also use the bluegill pattern, which is Stump Knocker. The Delta will be experiencing all stages of the spawn and bass just don't like bluegill around their beds, so a bluegill imitator will be a good color to have on.

There is also a wide array of shad colors, but  I would primarily stick with the craw and bluegill patterns for the Delta at this time.

During this season craws and bluegill are two major forages on the Delta.

To throw an exclusive color, check out the two that are only available at Hi's Tackle Box Shop here.
