Yuba Sutter Fishing Club is hosting the 1st Western National High School Qualifier on Lake Oroville this Saturday, April 29th out of Bidwell Marina. We will be qualifying two high school teams to advance directly to the 2017 Costa Bassmaster High School National Championships. It will be held in Tennessee on Kentucky Lake in late June. We are hoping the best high school teams in California will come out and compete for the opportunity to advance. It is only $25.00 to join, membership in BASS Nation is not required unless you qualify to advance. You will have the opportunity to pay for a membership at the tournament. The California State Director will be there to facilitate any qualifying teams in becoming members.
No jet boats or A Rigs allowed. This tournament will include awards in the high school and junior divisions. 1st -3rd and big fish award, raffle prizes for anglers and boaters, barbecue lunch and the exclusive opportunity to weigh in on the stage of the Wild West Bass Trail tournament trailer for a top notch experience.

Check in begins at 5am, blast off at 6:30am and weigh ins begin at 2:30pm. All boaters must show proof of liability insurance of 300,000 for their boats. All teams must have an adult boater that runs the main motor exclusively. Boaters cannot keep any fish in the live well during this event.
