Club Classic 2012, September 15 at Russo's Marina

Greetings Bass clubs,

The Delta Bass Club will be hosting the 8th annual Club Classic again this year. It will be on September 15, 2012 (Saturday) at Russo's Marina, follow by awards ceremony, BBQ, and a raffle after the weigh-in. Mark this date on your calendar and put this event on your club's meeting agenda. This is your day to claim the title of The Best Bass Club of the year.

As always, this is a fun event, the payout is 100% (minus costs), and the entry fee includes BBQ and Big fish option. More payout details will be available once we've finalized the registration. We will be sending registration packets shortly. Let us know ASAP if you plan to come out. Looking forward to seeing your club.

An informational email with containing registration and tournament rules was sent out to the clubs yesterday afternoon. So far eight clubs have given a "YES" to commitment to participate in this year's Club Classic, enjoy WAAZUU BBQ, and raffle. The tournament committee is waiting to hear from other clubs wanting to fish a "Classic" event and place their club's name on the Trophy of the "Best Bass Club in the West".

Hey everyone, we have some exicting updates from the Club Classic committee. We've been getting a lot of interests from clubs. As of today, the following clubs have verbally committed and are working to get the registration packets completed. Go guys and gals, let's have those packets sent ASAP!!!!

We just want to say to everyone that this is REALLY AWESOME!! It shows that the Club Classic is growing and heading in the right direction. It really gives us, the committee at the Delta Bass Club, a great satisfication to be heading this event. With your help and participations, let's strive to create one of the biggest club events of the year. This is going to be GREAT!!!!!!!

P.S. please remember clubs, we will need as much help as we can so even those who may not be fishing, it would be great if your club can help out by sending some volunteers!!!

OK everyone, just a friendly reminder. The Club Classic is next Saturday the 15th and it looks like this is going to be one of the biggest if not THE biggest Club Classic ever. It's going to be fun!!!!

We'll have the final details regarding blast-offs and things like that Sunday evening (tomorrow 9/9) after the committee meeting, stay tunned!!!

BTW, here's a heads-up on this year Club Classic T-shirt design. This is what the Delta Bass Club, Club Classic committee came up with, check it out!!! They will be available for purchase at the event for $15. Note that there will be a limited quantity available so get yours ASAP.

Hey all, here's an update. We've got the following 8 clubs coming out this year. We'll be sending each president a private email with your club's flight and boat numbers and other details as necessary on the 12th.

Registration/Check-in @ 4:30AM in Russo's marina office
Blast off @ safe light between 6:45-7AM
Weigh-in @ 1PM for 1st flight, 1:15PM for 2nd flight, 1:30PM for 3rd flight
