Did Governor Brown promise the Bay Area a new reservoir in exchange for Delta tunnels support?

Our Executive Director Barbara Barrigan-Parrilla tells The Sacramento Bee, "There's definitely too much smoke here to be a coincidence."

In October, the Santa Clara Valley Water District said that they only would commit about a third of the $650 million Gov. Jerry Brown's office had hoped it would pay for his controversial Delta tunnels project. Now, in a sudden reversal, they may pay the full amount.

The board is scheduled to vote on the issue Wednesday at 5pm. Join us to help stop the tunnels.
