Whether you are a competitive angler getting ready for the upcoming Bass Pro Shops Open on May 13th-15th, or simply an everyday multi-species angler that is looking to get more productivity from your day on the water, the one thing every angler wants “bottom line” information on is: “How do I use my equipment to put more fish in the boat”.

To this end, Angler’s Press Outdoors, via it’s Sportsman’s University curriculum, is pleased to present for northern California anglers, a dynamic, all-day, on-the-water, hands-on workshop dubbed: Navionics “Day On the Blue”, a workshop/clinic designed SPECFICALLY to help you understand the basics of Navionics technology so that you can be more productive on the water, and put more fish in the boat!

This workshop/clinic will take place on Sunday, May 1st on Folsom Lake, and will be led by Travis Huckaby, a product specialist with Navionics’s national Pro Staff, a past FPT Navionics Cup Champion, FPT Angler of the year, and via his angling prowess, has earned the respect of his pro-level peers.

The format of this workshop/clinic will be as follows:

On Sunday May 1st, every hour-on-the-hour, beginning at 8am, Travis will pick up two anglers, and proceed to a designated area on Folsom Lake to conduct the workshop/clinic. During this time, students will partake in a one-on-one, hands-on workshop, and can expect to learn how to:

• Load a Navionics card in your unit with the correct settings
• Plot a course from point A to point B
• Set safety depths
• Interpret mapping data: such as points, drop-offs, breaks, & secondary spots
• Save/Storing your data

And much more!

In addition, EVERYONE attending this workshop will receive a free “Navionics 101 – The Basics” DVD plus an Angler’s Press rebate savings coupon for $10 off any Navionics mapping chart!

IMPORTANT NOTE – because there are only a limited number of slots available, YOU MUST CALL or EMAIL the Angler’s Press Offices AS SOON AS POSSIBLE to reserve your time slot, as we will place participants in time slots on a first-come-first-served basis.

Also…refreshments will be served throughout the day, with a Navionics product specialist on site at the Angler’s Press booth, to help anglers – even those that don’t get a time slot, with any questions regarding the Navionics mapping product – so please feel free to bring your rigs to get expert advice on any issues that are of concern to you.

Western anglers, opportunities for on-the-water training workshops such as this are rare, so don’t miss out as Angler’s Press/Sportsman’s University presents: Navionics “Day on the Blue” at Folsom Lake!

See you there!
