Year-round Boat Ramp Coming to Oroville

The Loafer Creek boat ramp ends well short of the water as of Friday, as seen beyond the houseboats on the water from Bidwell Canyon Marina at Lake Oroville. A Department of Water Resources plan to replace the ramps with some lanes that would go as low as 700 feet, has been approved by federal regulators.
