"The HEAT IS ON".. this Saturday at Clear Lake, as the Coor's Light FPT brings "The BIG BASS Brawl" to the city of Lakeport, California.
The facts:
- The field will see over 100 teams participating
- In last year's event, held on virtually the same weekend, it took over 20 pounds - just to get in the TOP 20!
- The temps leading up to this event are forecast to be in the mid 70's with a possible shower, which should stir up the bite and make the big spawners come alive!
Saturday's event is extremely crucial and may decide the fate of many teams hoping to qualify for one of the exclusive berths available in the prestigous 2016 Coors Light Future Pro Tour Classic Championship - which will be held the first week of March of 2017, adding even more pressure for anglers deciding which strategy will be most effective.
The "freaks" come out in May - as these anglers show what can happen in mid spring on Clear Lake
We will soon find out as this Saturday’s event will launch at safe-light out of Library Park in Lakeport, followed by a dramatic weigh-in that begins promptly at 3pm.
Its not too late to get in ..
We we will take late signups for this event at the Library Park ramp - the morning of the event, beginning at 4am, where limited memberships of just $5 per angler will be available for those that can only fish a few FPT events or simply wish to try us out.
