Re: Day 2 Updates from the Water | WWBT AZ Teams Championship Mead Day 2
With the exception of Brandon Bynum and Nathan Pugh, looks like everyone was up in the Virgin Arm or the Basin on the AZ side. Did I get it correct?
Mead is my local pond. Surprised the photos show many fishing from 25' to shallower. I would have started at 20' and gone deeper, even early if something didn't happen in the first 20 minutes.

Re: Day 2 Updates from the Water | WWBT AZ Teams Championship Mead Day 2
Most of the fish caught in this event were in less than 10 feet of water. In fact I'd say most were less than 5 feet. The fishing was pretty decent with probably about 70% being largemouth. The 2nd day was tougher on many teams because there was no wind and Mead always is tougher on slick water days. Topwater, jigs, and dropshot were top producers. Vegas wash was the top producing area. Congrats to the Salazar family. They had a great family turnout as well with 20+ family members showing up. It was awesome. We need more family involvement to get back to the "old days".
Thanks to all that helped make the WWBT Teams a success this year.
