Project Healing Waters for the Vets

Post by tmulliken »

We are having a small tournament for the vets on May 7th. Sugar Barge has offered their facility for this event. Project Healing Waters helps to rehabilitate disabled vets through fly fishing. This tournament is a first ever on the delta. We are targeting both largemouth and stripers. Basically aimed to be a great day on the river for a vet, most of whom have never been in a bass boat. We are in need of a few more boats to accommodate those vets who are signed up to fish this event. If you could please help out, post a reply or call Tom Mulliken @ 925-930-9130.

Your help would be greatly appreciated. Any expense to the boater will be reimbursed.

Thank you

I can't believe that nobody has responded to this plea for helping a disabled Veteran for a one day event. These guy's put their Butts on the line when duty called. Come on guy's Tom has not got one call or response for this event. I will be traveling from Nevada City with my boat to help someone out that sacrificed a lot for you and this country. There is plenty of tournament fisherman and recreation boaters out there that live very close to Bethel Island. Is one day on your part to much to ask?
I'm a Vietnam Vet and I didn't hesitate when asked to help out.
It will be an Honor for me to participate in this event.
