5#er on topwater

From last week, just before Labor Day and pretty late in the morning. And I know this spot gets pounded so I was pretty surprised. Otherwise slow last Thursday (8/31). Anyone else whackin' em? If so please post GPS coordinates.

Those topwater fish are fun. I was out Wednesday and done okay. I fished from about 8:30-1:00. I think I boated 4 fish in the 3-4 lb class and several other sub 2 lb fish. I caught one of the better fish on top and one punching then I believe the rest on senkos. The wind got up so I left.
