Free Dobyns Rod for Angler’s Choice Pro-Am fishermen

Post by Bill Hutcheson »

This is one that is bound to get your attention.

All anglers participating in the 2010 U.S. Anglers Pro Am tournaments will have the chance get their choice of a top of the line Dobyns Rod for free through a partnership formed with Gary Dobyns, President of Dobyns Rods and the U.S. Angler’s Choice tournament trail.

The program is a buy-one, get-one free program that will have service like no other. Fishermen signing up for any one of the four Anglers Choice Western Division Pro Am events can email Dobyns Rods (dobynsrod@comcast.net) and place their order. A company representative will confirm with the angler prior to the tournament and get it set up. Order the first rod at regular price and you will receive the second rod (of equal or lesser value) for free. Best of all, you will be able to pick up your rod from either Gary or Richard Dobyns during the partner pairing meeting of the Angler’s Choice Pro-am event that you are attending.

Competitor’s fishing in the U.S. Angler’s Choice Eastern division Pro-am’s are also eligible for this promotion, however the rods will be shipped to the Eastern Division tournament director Dave Kilby for distribution at the Pro-am events in question.

Great question that was talked about and missed   in the press release. This is limited to one set per angler. Hope to see everyone fishing.

Gary, thanks for stepping up and supporting us the fisherman. What a great way to save on some of your new releases like the Champion Series 765CB Glass, 764CB Randy McAbee or the Champion Extreme Series DX705C, DX742C, DX743C SH, DX744C SH and DX795 Flip as well as the all new "Savvy Series". Looking forward to seeing you and some of "OLD GANG" at these events.

Gary,
Say someone is going to fish a later tourney ( lets use the September delta as an example, and they have already entered ). Does that person have an opportunity to get their rods prior to that date ?

Great question. I would think if an angler is paid in full for an event, that the answer would be yes. I hope game players do not cause this to change.

Anyone ordering their rods to be delivered at tournaments must arrange this prior to the event. I have to know what to bring. Please remember both Rich and me will be fishing A/C also, so if you wait to the last minute and we are practicing.........no rods :D

Also, you must pay CA tax and if we do not hand deliver, shipping.

I am happy to do this promo with Angler's Choice. I think it can be positive for everyone. Thanks in advance to all.

Hey Gary or Bill is this offer still on? I am thinking about fishing the AC Delta Pro/Am in Sep. I want to start upgrading all my rods and will be going with all Dobyns rods. This looks like an awesome way to get started with some of the best rods out there. :D

Good Fishing,

Any chance you might do this with the Clear Lake Open as well?

That's a really generous deal you're offering.
Hats off to you and Rich.

Thats is really a super deal. Thanks for the product support. Are you considering extending this very generous offer to the other Anglers Choice circuits? I notice you only indicate Pro-Am events.

Good Fishin
