Pike & Raynor Rule USAC Region #2 TOC - Results

Congratulations to Ron Raynor and Steve Pike who added 8.38 pounds to thier day one weight of 12.06 pounds to emerge victorious at the 2010 USAC Region #2 TOC with a total weight of 20.44 pounds. The duo earned a new Legend LE195 Boat and Mercury ProXS 200hp motor and bragging rights for the next year. Nice job to both of you.

The remainer of the 48 boat field split a pot that totalled out to just over $66,000 - not bad considering we will be doing this again next month at Clear Lake with our Region #1 TOC qualifiers.

Damn, Okubo and Batty with 18.73 must be Pissed. A 2LB penalty for not checking in/signing up by 5PM the night prior to the actual tourny cost them the win and arguably 20K. OUCH.

With respect to the 2 pound penalty, that was assessed to the team due to the fact that they did not check in and sign up for the event during the 3-5 o'clock window. Additionally, they did not call me in advance to let me know that they would be running late.

I would also like to give a big shout out to Vern Price for all the
hard work this guy has done for every one of us anglers. I know
Clint and I have really appreicated your effort over the years.
So again thank you Vern.

Hutch, also great job on you and your teams effort also. Fast weigh
in, fast meeting, fast awards, started at 6:30 sharp on the take off,
great job getting results posted, great effort all the way around.
