To the bass fisherman of 100% BASS. I would like thank you for your support. For those that choose to fish with other tournament trails, I would just like to thank you for being Bass Fisherman and participating in this sport we have all grown to love.

To Bill Hutchinson. keep up the good work. I know the past few years have been different, but thing are getting better and it is in no small part to your hard work.

To Tom Leogrande. We have had words in the past and I regret some of the things we have said to one another. You run a very classy magazine and work hard to give bass fisherman a lot of quality.

to Mark Mendez. You have figured out how to give away more boats to team anglers in the west and you should be thanked for this. you have a good staff that works hard, several are personal friends. keep going.

to Vince Harris. all you have done is take a good idea and turn it into a great idea. for this you have had to watch people on this board (myself included) talk about short comings. There are none.
You run a very good organization and should be commended for what you have brought to bass fishing. I for one am truly sorry for the things I have said and and hope you continue to build the best thing possible for amatuer bass fisherman.

To Tony Stoltz, Cooch, and Lee Hines. You have the toughest job on the internet. I never understood this until just this week. I wouldn't want your job for anything on earth. Keep up the good work and remember, the few who make your job tuff, are outweighed by the many who try and make WesternBass.com a fun place to hang out.

For now I just want to say, I am sorry to anyone I may have offened and will spend the rest of my life trying to make Western Bass fishing a thing we can all be proud of. there is truly room for all in a sport with no limitations.

signing off for the last time... KORNY

Hey Korny. I guess I am in the dark. Are you retiring, just fed up or moving on? Really do not need to know however, that is your business. I just want to say that I hope to see you at the Rally, etc. my contacts with you over the past six years or so have always been good and I enjoy your presense at the various events that I have been in and you have been there. Your hard work is appreaciated. See you on the water. Western Rally in July especially. Bill K :)
Fun fishing the country, each and every week.

It says nothing on his web site about not doing any tourneys. I think he is just done posting on this forum. For what reason, who knows.

100% BASS will still be running tournaments. If you have any questions about Korny's tournaments please feel free to contact him. Korny decided it's in his best interest to personally not post in the forums anymore but to my understanding will still be posting about 100% BASS tournaments.

Korny -

I appreciate your open letter. I also appreciate your kind words about the magazine.

You have a great thing going and regardless of our disagreements your paybacks are fantastic and anglers should fish your events and do! Like I have always said - All the organizations are pretty much the same. Some offer apples others offer oranges. For some anglers apples are what they want and for others its the oranges and then there are the nutcases that like 'em all! As you stated in your letter, there is plenty of room for all the organizations to co-exhist... and hopefully be friends or at least cordial as we move forward in this fantastic sport we like to be a part of.

Not sure your reasoning behind the letter but, I can appreciate it... I quit my WesternBass.com addiction everyday... but, something keeps dragging me back in here. I have a new website.... WesternBass-JustSayNo.com for all my fellow addicts!

With that said, your comments and thoughts are going to be missed by many... I know I love reading fishing stories, answering any questions I can and hearing about new techniques and goodies on here. It would be a shame if you stopped bringing that to this board!

Tight Lines and good luck,
Tom

I've already done so here on his behalf Rogue. 100% BASS is still very much in operation and will have a team tournament this weekend on in their Clear Lake region.
