Yes it is true.........

Post by Shawn R. »

I did boat a big fish yesterday! It just happened and im already getting emails, phone calls, etc. so i guess ill fess up to it!! She weighed 18lb 0oz. !!! Everyone is catching big fish this time of year so i normally dont feel the need to brag however, this time it is justified!!!! And the best part, she hit blindly! I mean i knew where she was but i never saw the hit when i set into her..........Anyone that knows me knows what lake, and im not going to post pics everywhere in newspapers. I just wanted to brag a little as i am proud of this fish!!!! Email me and i will send you pics.......Now i have a new one to beat this year !!!!!

Dude, you are the man! How in earth did you catch that pig out of Santa Ana River Lakes? We've all heard of the monster trout and Wipers, but an 18 lb. fish from Chris' Pond is simply amazing. Were you throwing the chart. sparkle powerbait of the crickhopper? Awesome accomplishment!

Awesome job. Catching a fish like that is far better than s*x any day. You are entitled to brag a bit. It's time like these that you'll remember for a lifetime. Send me pics!

Great Job . .... Brian D. you are nuts nothing better than sex.... wait until I tell your woman about that one..... sex is sex fishing is a close second.... get it right.
Oh by the way Shawn congrats again ... I hope to get out there but my schedule sucks to try and go. Zach sorry I have not called but every time I try to work out a day to go it never works out for me. To many tournaments this month. I need to practice. At least I am getting on the water though.

No, That's way better than sex and I don't care who you tell that to Ray :D ! Congratulations on landing the beast of a lifetime....I've got a way to go before 10 pounders are a dime a dozen ...You however have raised the bar and will be forever putting your next big fish against this fish in comparison. A good friend of mine has a 17 1/2 pounder and it is plain scary to contemplate anything bigger. I hope your Spring just gets better.

Ok brian i got her on a Nitro worm soaked with Nitro grease at the bubble hole she was a lightning and thunder pink meat steelhead and i won the Nitro lure pack as 1st prize over the weekend. It was well worth the $58 entry fee into the lake. Dont worry, although ive caught my share of trout this one was "the kind"
