“The tournament angler who uses our “Wireless Lanyard” will have a significant competitive advantage over his counter-parts,” says Keith Jackson, MariTech Industries’ President/CEO. “More casts directly relate to more fish and more wins. Improving boating safety while providing the angler an average of 25-40 more casts per day is a win-win situation,” he adds.
Each unit consists of two transmitters about the size of a watch, and an ignition control module that is easily installed. The transmitters can be worn in several ways, such as pinned to a PFD, attached to a belt loop, etc. CAST is activated only when the operator and/or passenger are ejected into the water and the transmitter becomes submerged. Once submerged, the transmitters will activate the control module, sound an alarm and automatically shut off the engine.
Now’s the time to throw that old cord away! Going wireless means: more casts, more fish, more wins, more prize money.
