WRB is correct and also Ca.Custom worms use to make a slim down version of the same bait. I used paddle tail grubs that keeper worm poured for me and made binky bugs using 3" 4" 5" grubs.

They did just shut the water down the lake has a green tint to it I caught a few bass but I has like wow all these suspended fish all over the lake.

Yes it takes several minutes to reach 50 ft and no I dont drop shot the jigs. I like the slow rate of fall. There always suspended fish around. There a fall & winter bait for me.
I have time and patience when it come to jig fishing its what I do best.

Pd I can build micro finesse 1/64 oz. Lions collar jigs it might compliment the 65 lb braid your using you can't get anymore finesse than that. Smallmouth and Spotted bass kill em.
Im going stick with 2,3,4 lb. maxima line when fishing these micro finesse jigs.
