Yes you can launch at M-N-M camp ground, but you can lauch at the public ramp before driving back to M-N-M and float under the bridge and BINGO, your in the keys. Or you can use the free ramp just behind Bob Higgins Limit out.

32 of our club members fish a tourney on Sunday at Highland Springs Res and we spent nothing on gas. Just the gas to drive there. Nothing like a float tube for a great day on the water.

I drop in on Stampede at the dam in the summer time and slay smallies all day while the old guys troll around the lake in there aluminum boats. Most are small, but the deeper I went the larger the smallies were. Good luck

Indian Valley, 10 mile gravel road, smallies and largies, the lake is 6 miles long with a 10 MPH speed limit. No personal craft zipping around. This is truely a fishermans lake.

Ive stayed in a few places there and the State Park for $21.00 is the ticket. You have a good ramp, clean bathrooms and heck its only a place to be while your not fishing. Out early and in late. You can grab a decent burger at Burger USA just down the road. This is how float tubers do it on a budget...

You are correct. Blast-off at 2:30 and weigh-in is at 8:30. And you don't have to be a member for your first tournament.
