Re: What is the best Rod for..

You should check out the Powell Rods. They where designed by Gary Dobyns who is the tops when it comes to rippin in my mind. If you are ripping smaller baits such as the Stacy or pointer 100 I would suggest the CB704, If you are ripping the larger baits like a pointer 128 I would suggest the CB706. ...

I prefer the original Castaic with the full thumb bar for pitchin and flippin. The new super free seems the wear on the side of your thumb if you do much pitchin. And I do not think the super free is necessary for pitchin. I can pitch a jig almost as far as I can cast it with the original. Tim Hendr...

Ron, I will have to agree with you, The no sweat Mist worked wonders on the hard water down at Havasu. But if you really want to make it easy to remove the water spots you need to use Seig's product called Hard On H20 Spot Remover, this stuff is simply amazing. I would try braid with a floro leader. The braid should have a tendancy to cut through the ice and stay more limber. This is just my thoughts.

This may be a dumb question but does the California Colorado river stamp save you from having to purchase an Arizona fishing licence for the Stren Series.

Hi Patty,
You can not go wrong with the chronarch but you need to consider the new curado D reel. It will save you about $ 50.00 and is just as good of a reel. All of the new Shimano Curados are real sweet.

I don't really know about the banana and fishing, but I do know that Banana's and Peanuts have been bad luck in racing for a very long time.
