I don't see micro guides for all applications, maybe for some, I like pflueger president reels and powell rods, great performance and quailty for a fair price.

As said many times before, the tourney fields are diluted by too many events. With low tournouts the paybacks only to top 5 at best which usually makes it only affordable for locals to fish because of less expenses (Team Tournys). 50 plus boats make a payback. If, a motor sits without use impellors can dry and take a set, (monthes) otherwise with lots of use without too many weeds the impellor shoud be good for two years just change it and save the parts for spares, tho once a year is recomennded, pull prop every five trips or so to check for line on seal...

This looks to be another La Nina winter to come may be colder and hopefully wet like last winter, I'll take the rain and snow pack which will be good for all waterways however, the weather is subject to constant change and any predictions are merely speculative the weather will always do as it does ...

There are two kinds of Premium Plus, regular and synthetic and they don't mix well the synthetic is the best in my opionion but if you want to change over to synthetic run your oil tank down low before mixing oils DFI is a different oil for specific apps, such as opti pro xs, Merc. and Quicksilver a...

I agree with Gary here in hindsite I have left the braid and frog on the 5 power and mostly fished jigs on the 734 and 733. Except pitichin with the 735.

That is a good outlook the gas dock should be good to go havent seen any boats or trailers there lately call them I hope to see the project complete by then just a heads up on current conditions.

Braid for frogs mono/flouro for jigs for me I switch reels good point. I dont like braid ever exept for frogs and big wake baits. when frogs, jigs are mentioned together I don't think deep but the Powell 705 is a good jig rod for Clear Lake to 30 feet.

Back in the day and I think you are talking early 80s, I had a Ranger 350 with a 12 volt Merc. troll motor I used two xheavy duty 6volt golf cart batts. wired in series but that was then, more options now...just a thought back I agree keep the costs down enjoy the boat and save for the Champ they ar...

Okeechobee, is overrated, at best a winter lake to get bit when it's cold elsewhere and it is a shiner lake, slow fishing with artificial baits..so many other lakes to catch em'.

I reccomend Fawndale Lodge by far and Packers Bay to launch bridge bay is 15$.. a big spawn is yet to come Shasta is is late to turn on like the others the best is yet to come it is hard to read the lake because it is FULL..
