Actually don't bother with Konocti Vista. Called last week and they were already booked for that weekend. Had to book at a hotel in Lakeport . It's should be a ton of fun as always. Great show!

It will probably be better to stay and launch elsewhere the roads to the casino are all tore up and dirt now with flagmen and pilot cars it's been a mess for weeks now and for how long who knows ... big project going on now the road has been rerouted and is under construction. If the work is completed by prefish-derby time the road would be better than ever keep an eye on this one as of now the roads suck bad.

I was there two weeks ago and the front desk said they didn't think the road would be done by then. Who knows if the state is paying for it, it might never get done.

Casino yesterday said they did have one room with one king bed. didn't want to go that route with my partner. I opted to reserve a spot in the rv park. Excellent place to stay and cheap. The road is dirt but in good condition. Drove on it yesterday with no problems. Allow extra time to allow for traffic control when they are working.

Would of loved to fish it but I was told that I couldn't fish with both the boys. They are 7 and 9 but I think the Nolans hog scared em. Lol. Oh well I can't take one and not the other to Clear Lake.
