I learned today that my Friend and Tournament Director Terry Davis passed away last night at about 6:30 PM. Terry was a great guy, always laughing and looking at the bright side of life. I hope he catches the "big ones" up there!

Here is what you need to do!
Collins can be tuff in Jan/Feb. But the main body is where you need to be with Jigs, Texas rigged worms and dart heads. Use football head jigs in Brown and purple or Black and brown. Fish slow, that water is likely mid to high 40's. For worms use Arron's Magic or Black Grape, both work well in stain...

Go to craigslist and buy a shell for about 500-1000 bucks. Always keeps tackle and stuff dry! Grab an air mattress or something and your good to go. No extra parts, no taking down and putting back up etc, etc.

Spinnerbait, jig and a ripbait. Hit the incoming water areas with the spinner bait and jig. When that is worked good and hard, move to the outside of the cut area and rip the banks on both sides. And it every area like that as you upgrade your limit or find the best honey hole!
