Don't know what to do ...... just went to "Restore the Delta" and sent them $25.
They are the only organization that has a prayer of stopping this disaster.

Re: Endagered Species Act Signs Off on Delta Tunnels
Have the Tunnels ever been on a ballot in California to determine if the residents of this State want to spend $17.1B to both destroy the Delta and further enrich the water whores who are already taking our water ? Or is it moving forward because Jerry Brown & Stewart Resnick say it is a good id...

Fished this morning, stayed out of the "5 mph restricted area" ..... which was 8:00 to Noon because I didn't want to deal with it. People I know who did venture in said the speed limit was being substantially ignored.

So no Yellow? Morgan ..... I'm just another Bass fisherman like you and am not an Authority on the goings on at San Joaquin County, but there is no "yellow" on the map, and there has not been any "yellow" on any of the several maps that have been published in the last month. I h...

I'm confused, the write up describes three colors, orange, pink, and yellow, but the map only shows 2 colors? I haven't been diagnosed as color blind, so what gives? Morgan The written instructions are confusing. Use the Map: Pink = closed Orange = 5mph/ 2hrs before + 2hrs after high tide ( 4 hr wi...

With all the high water and big flows, is there any Hyacinth left? The Hyacinth tends to all die over the Winter and doesn't come back until it warms up ...... the high water levels are not to the point that everything is "submerged", not even close. The bite has been hot for a couple of ...

Here's the latest update https://www.sjgov.org/department/oes/pdf/revised_river_closure_notice_and_map_032117.pdf It appears the same as before except the Mildred Island area, where the window before and after high tide for 5mph is now an hour either side, instead of two hours either side. And Yes .... I watched the show in disbelief. 80% of the water being pumped out of our Delta is winding up in the "Kern Water Bank" ...... by virtue of some whoreish agreement spawned in the 90's ...... Resnick / Paramount Farms now OWNS 68% of that water. Resnick is free to turn the Baker...

Do you think it is right to use our water to grow crops and products for export. It is total bologna. The way I read it, the entire orange area has the 4 hour high tide restriction, 2 before and 2 after. You may be right Mark ..... the directive is poorly written to start with, I am fairly sure 3a & 3b should both read "orange". Since I like to fish around Mildred, I sent an email to ...

Ranger 519v is correct. The San Joaquin County OES written directive is incorrect.
Paragraphs 3a & 3b should both reference "orange" around Mildred Island ...... not "pink"

You are right, it is a State project, the State however will need federal money to fund this $16 billion dollar disaster. Hopefully the Federal "environmental review" will rule in favor of the environment.jimmyG wrote:The Twin Tunnels is a state, not a federal issue.
